From way up here in Alaska, I love this show! Congratulations on the award. You two make such a wholesome and charming team, and I’d never even heard of chow chow. Now I want to make it. You two are giving me all new ideas on what to do with my canning jars. And these stuffed peppers look wonderful, I was never taught to cook the peppers first like that. I’m going to try it. Also, you can never have too much cheese.
I was taught to mix up the cold ingredients, cold cooked rice necessary, and also eggs and cheese with all of the veggies and meat, then put it in the peppers, cook that about an hour and put cheese on at the end, melt it, then brown it a little with the broiler if you want.
Congratulations Tim. Love you folks, been watching for close to 10 years. You are a blessing to your community. Peppers look great too!
