Splatoon 2's two story modes both seem way too much like Mother 3. In Single Player Mode: "Two friends one's outgoing one's quiet oh no now quiet kid is depressed because loud kid got kidnaped and brainwashed while trying to solve family matters. Now new friends will help sad kid defeat a villain from the previous game who is also responsible for the kidnaping." In octo expansion: "Traverse through a bunch of challenges and get helped by a band so that you can reach a good area. Uh oh villain who was alive before the world ended and also opresses you is now here and he would like to destroy the world again haha you beat him and you just saved the world." Sound... familiar?
