The fact that all of the Wario Victory Animations are original and one is directly based of Wario Land 4 tells me how much detail and care they put into the character.
Sonic's animations genuinely made me smile it's like we peered into another timeline where he really was in smash 64, it's isnane how well done these are
They did a great job replicating the animation style of the OG game's win-screens. I just wish they gave some of these characters the win themes from 64's original OST. Some of them sound pretty uncanny for the Smash 64 format like Dark Samus and Mewtwo. They did an AMAZING job translating the Fire Emblem theme into that sound font, that sounded magical.
I think my favorite part of the Mad Piano section is not just the fact that that's an actual character in this game, not just the fact that its victory themes are piano covers of various Mario songs but the implication that Super Sonic lost to a goddamn piano.
Speaking of Falco I still hope that the Remix team includes Krystal in the mod Since her game, Dinosaur Planet, was supposed to come out on N64 (It's time for Krystal to be in a Smash Bros game dang it)
Theirs just something about Smash 64 winning animations that I think are way better then in the future games. I prefer Ness' serious face after swinging the bat in here then in the future games. Luigi's winning animations in this game are underrated as hell. I honestly wanted characters that were scrapped in the original 64 to be in the game and I'm glad they got in. Then we got alternate victory themes for Bowser, Bowser Jr. and Dark Pit for Smash 4. And then alternate victory themes for Lucina, Corrin, Byleth and Robin, K. Rool, Dark Samus and Ridley, and even Sephiroth.

Although I'd prefer to still play as Young Link, why not have a separate Young Link who only uses the Masks and call him Masked Link? Make him like a Pokemon Trainer type character. Lastly I think the Original cast should have remix versions of themselves. Update them to keep them up with the Remix cast.

the only nitpicks i have is characters like dr. Mario have no unique victory poses (young link and falco lightly fall into this too)
Yeay sadly, and also his entrance animation (I wish he had his SSB4/U entrance)
But I can understand they left everything like this since it was their first times modding Smash 64. It was only full-clones of existing characters.
But yeah, would be cool if they gave him his melee poses
