If you've been looking for a cheap, small size, and thin monitor for your gaming needs such as for Microsoft Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 Pro, Gameboy Console, PS4 or simply to be used with your desktop PC or laptop, this 22-inch LED monitor by Sceptre might be something you should consider.
Be mindful that if you searched on Amazon for a 22" Sceptre LED monitor (instead of clicking on the links provided), the results will show two 22-inch monitor but with different prices and features. This one is $84.97 (price at this writing) and the one is $99.99. The model # for the one we showcased in this video is E225W-19203R whereas the latter is E225W-19208A. This model has almost 4,000 ratings and the more expensive version has nearly 2,000 reviews. I honestly don't think you could find a monitor with as many features as this one for the same price.
You get a full HD monitor equipped with built-in speakers, 2 HDMI ports, a VGA port, an audio in port, an audio out port (so yes, you can plug headphones directly into the monitor if you like! A great feature considering most headphone cords aren't long enough to reach the port on the actual PC tower), and of course, the DC-in port for the power.
Got this monitor because it is the most light weight in its size (22in) that I could find -- less than 5 pounds. I'm very happy with the quality
I was hard pressed to find other monitors with the specific features this one has at such a cheap price point. They have very clear picture quality, and a smooth refresh rate if you've only ever used 60hz monitors.
The colors were washed out at first until I figured out how to adjust the brightness setting. You have to go Picture then Preset: User and then that will allow you to adjust the Backlight, Brightness, and Contrast. I turned down the Brightness so it didn't look so washed out and I also turned down the Backlight so it wasn't so intense. I guess it's a good thing that the backlight can go higher than I need though. You will probably also have to calibrate the colors. It was a little too cool for my liking so I set the Blue Light Shift to 10% along with turning down blue and green to make it more similar to my primary display.
