    I bought a pair a few weeks ago - it was a slow delivery, but worth it. I have never gotten on with in ear buds or headphones. They are super comfortable and the sound is very good. They fit well on the bike with helmet and glasses and you can genuinely hear everything around you (obviously not a good thing if you are walking on a busy road). Build quality is very good. The only negative I have is that I've found they don't last as long as advertised - my estimate is around 12 hours. As I will be using it doing long distance bike touring and hiking, I will need the charging case (which I just ordered).

    Bought a pair for running and I am very happy with the sound and fit. In general I struggle with the fit of in ear buds, which tend to work themselves loose.
    I was originally skeptical that the Oladance would bounce off my small ears, but they do not move and are very light and comfortable. I also have a pair of Shokz and prefer the sound and fit of the Oladance.

  • @Emelenzia
    @Emelenzia ปีที่แล้ว

    This are great products but unfortunately did not work for me. I developed eczema to silicone and needed to find open ear alternatives to avoid painful reactions. Oladance worked amazing for the first week but the ezcema went from my ear canal to outer ear. And considering Oladance is covered in silicone there was a lot of contact points to cause allergic reactions. So these are probably amazing products for those looking for a open ear design for fitness. However if you are looking for alternatives from silicone discomfort this could cause complications.
    Earbuds that have worked for me so far are linkbuds and airpod 3. They sit right outside your ear with little to no rubber to create a reaction while also letting in a lot of ambient sound. Disavantage for both is neither really are secure at all in the ear and easily slip out. I think I am just asking for to much. Zero rubber, great sound, lets in ambient sound, and good fit. Airpod 3 hit all of these besides the fit so may just settle.
    Honestly really want to try out Shokz but they seem to be made of a similar rubber as Oladance and I feel I probably get the same skin reaction to them.

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usually silicone is considered to be both skin-friendly and comfortable that’s why most products have such coating. Sorry to hear that it does not work for you though. You should try some earbuds with a great transparency mode (Airpods Pro 2 comes to mind) with foam tips maybe to avoid an allergic reaction

    My big nit is the chargeable and non-chargeable cases don't share the same form factor. The "eye glass" form factor is a bit annoying and the difference of the two reminds me of the assumption that consumers wouldn't be able to differentiate between CDs and DVDs.
    .
    I am also annoyed by the fact that the USB-C port placemrnt on the case seems like an afterthought and prone to cable strain without regard to daily use.

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  ปีที่แล้ว

      If the two cases were the same it would mean that there is no need for two cases in the first place 🤔

    • @indigo_wolf3574
      @indigo_wolf3574 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AndysTechTone My understanding was the two cases existed to have the powered one NOT being included as a cost saving feature for the initial purchase.
      .
      There isn't really a need for size being the distinguishing feature between the powered and unpowered versions at the cost of "pocketability." That distinction could easily have been handled by a texture or accent color change.

    • @AndysTechTone
      @AndysTechTone  ปีที่แล้ว

      @indigo_wolf3574 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AndysTechTone The not including a powered case was a cost saving measure. Another TH-cam reviewer contacted customer support.
