Grey Fergie is my personal favourite tractor as I believe it is the most important tractor that started modern farming. This is because of the three point linkage which is virtually on every modern tractor. I have one although it is a tef with a diesel four cylinder 😂

I can't adequately put into words how happy it makes me to see that Belarus crawler hauling ass down the road. I love all that old Soviet technology. It's so interesting the way that people just made things work!

Nuffield 4/65. Yes, i know they have their problems and what not, but i find them reliable and lovely tractors to drive. Also the fact that my 4/65 has been the first tractor i owned and did up, influenced my choice.

I've always liked DAVID BROWN TRACTORS when I was a kid the local farmer would have me steering whilst he controlled the foot pedals, as he ploughed the fields, it was a 1690 4x4 I remember it being fcukin huge! I was about only about 9/10 so it was a big deal for me and they're memories that I cherish! 👍

*Hello, Lord Muck. This is an old Russian, or rather Soviet crawler tractor BELARUS DT-75. This tractor was produced in the USSR at a factory in Volgograd.(this has nothing to do with Belarus. The trademark "BELARUS" was not chosen by chance, since this brand was already recognizable in the countries where this tractor was exported). The tractor cab shown in your video is NOT native. It was installed by a local dealer. The original cabin is less spacious, although one such cabin was later brought to the VGTZ, it was tested for working conditions (air temperature, dustiness, noise, visibility, etc.) and no advantages were revealed compared to the "native" cabin. In the USSR, the tractor became a true legend of the Soviet fields! The author of this video and the audience most likely had the impression that all the crawler tractors of the DT-75 "BELARUS" family were primitive, clumsy "mechanical horses". No. This tractor was developed in the form of the DT-75S tractor, and subsequently the DT-175S/M "VOLGAR". I.e. initially it was a high-speed modification of the DT-75 tractor. Its operating speed range was 9-15 km/h; and its transport speed was up to 21 km/h. The most important distinguishing feature of the Volgar was the presence of an automatic continuously variable hydromechanical transmission! If the resistance on the hook increases, the tractor itself reduces speed, and increases traction. And vice versa. There is NO need to change gears. By the way, in February 2021 it was 35 years since "Volgar was put into production.*

It's called a donkey engine!! Love these old crawlers, I bought a D4 7U when I was 18, parents thought I was completely mad, it came from Ali, in Prickwillow, Cambridgeshire, and had wide tracks, it came over as part of the war effort and after a bit of tinkering started beautifully on the donkey, and ran without making any smoke, my biggest regret was selling it! Great video, can watch you videos all night. My favourite tractor, the County 1124, with the fritzmeier cab, we had one on my Dad's farm back in the late 70's early 80's or the Roadless 115, or Roadless 120, that the neighbouring farm had at this time.

Got to say it brings a smile to my face every time I see a Ford 7840 Powerstar SLE. Lovely going, good looking tractors. Second would be a MF148 - the venerable 135 with a spacer to make it fit my lanky legs a bit better. Third, would be the tractor I learnt to drive in, a Ford 3910 with the universally hated column gear change. I think I might be the only person in the world that likes them. 😂
