Road trip, Gets a big 👍🏻 from me. I used to have a boss who’s dad was a hill farmer in wales. He got rid of his quad and bought a fiat panda 4x4 and used that instead. Loved it so much he bought 2 more and stripped them down so he every spare he could need. 😎🇬🇧

Great that the Dexter went to an Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire winner, that area is a complete powerhouse of UK farming, it’s massive contribution in regards to its colossal produce quality and volume is often forgotten as for such a long time has been thought of only for oil and all of that farming productivity is forgotten ( but it has the 2nd largest livestock auction in the whole of Europe, which isn’t just up there for no reason lol) and on top of that 2/3rds of all fish landed in the entire UK is landed in just 2 Aberdeenshire towns ( FR and PH on the trawlers 😜 ), keep up the great work and vids Mucka and yes I’d love to see the road trip 😊
Excellent vehicle choice, Kurt. The Suzuki is definitely the way to go for the Collie Rescue Charity. Not just for reliability, maintenance and comfort but also for safety. I occasionally go on trips with a local four wheel drive club, about half of them being beach clean up trips or planting trips. One of the key rules is that you keep the windows closed whilst driving bush tracks, so that you do not get hit by any vegetation. This is especially important for the driver. Side by sides are-in my view-an answer waiting for an extremely stupid question. Cheers from NZ🇳🇿.

I made the same decision a couple of years ago against a gator type and went for a Jimny. Its basically a little landrover without the reliability problems. Enjoy the trip to Wales and its a good job you are leaving there as believe me you will not want to do that distance again.

Good to hear wat you do for the charity and the Collie dogs and give them a second chance I'm a dog owner myself I gave a home to a jack Russell cross a he was having a bad time I've had him 8 years and hes 14 now and got heart problem now but the £100 a month vet bill is worth every pennie Charlie is a my best friend its true the old saying is. Lord muck you have my big respect 👍

Road Trip Video... YES PLEASE😃 I used to have a Jimny (17 reg). Bitterly regret selling it, Ok not a Disco but incredibly capable and FUN. A tip on selecting 4WD... It's an electronic actuator (A switch), if you have any problems engaging or dis-engaging the 4WD you need to have the clutch pedal hard on the floor while you select or de-select it. And I'd love to also see how the walk around London and the train journey back home goes. Thanks for the video and I love what you've done with the raffle proceeds.

That's why ya can't get ravs, diahatsus, terranos etc cheap here anymore. The dairy boy's tried the sxs and they died pulling half ton of palm kernel or random bales etc. Those wee trucks same price, last longer, got roof & heater and handle it all with a tyre swap
The old sj 410 was an amazing out of the box off roader, those tyres you have there though were some of the best tread pattern tyres i ever used on my fourtrak round the farm years ago but tbh didn't do alot on road with them, but were also bigger being on a bigger truck.

Mucker, me and some mates went "green laning" once, but came across some very deep muddy rutts. My LR Lightweight with military michelin xcl`s bogged down and the vehicle that reversed back, towed me out easily, was a JImny........ I never lived it down. Hey Ho!
