If we're talking about Grey Jedi moving forward, it would seem there should be plans for Ezra to be incorporated into the story considering his displayed control of both the Light and Dark side, not to mention his experience with the Bendu. And like Ahsoka, he's also a Filoni created character, so with him in charge now of the franchise development, Ezra should be a central character, given that he was just introduced in live action.
I envision him teaching others how to fight without a saber, to not rely on them under his new sect of Jedi. That would be a fun way for him to lead. Perhaps then some drama stirs about who is right, and he's forced into another war he doesn't want to be in ..... we can go anywhere from the end of Ahsoka, so I hope they really give me the spice I'm craving. Ahsoka felt a touch too saccharine.
Duuuude if Luke named his son Owen I’d cry, Luke’s aunt and uncle are never spoken of again after episode 4 and it always made me sad that the people who raised and protected him for 18ish years are a one off plot thread
Charlize Theron would make a good Shin Hati, she has a physical resemblance, Oscar winning dramatic range, and she's very capable of executing complex action choreography.
I'd actually prefer if "Shin Hati" turned out to be an alias for Mara Jade and that Luke and her played out their "Heir To The Empire" arc over the course of Dave Filoni's Thrawn centered movie(s). Shin Hati has way too great a potential to throw under the bus during a Disney attempt to revive their mishandled Rey character.
Rey only needs to be “revived” the same way Anakin needed to be “revived”- Anakin’s character wasn’t very well accepted by general audiences, so when Clone Wars was around the corner, they made some minor changes to his character that went a long, LONG way in endearing both fans and general audience. Rey has a bit of the opposite problem, where she’s not nearly as despised by general audiences as Anakin was when the prequels came out, but hardcore fans absolutely HATE her (which is a shame since I think she was handled alright until rise of skywalker came out, but that’s neither here nor there). My point being, successfully amending the sequel trilogy would be an even easier process than amending the prequel trilogy was, but for some reason a lot of people would rather be lazy and throw the sequels out instead of simply making them better
Nah but its clear they are just doing legends but character swaping roles whats good it can makes legends and canon one continuty but stotires are being told from different perspectives within the galaxy but they will not give luke a son because not only that breaks georges vision about luke not getting married but its stupid all 9 films is the skywalker saga and you intorduce a off screen skywalker between films the future skywalker children will be adopted children of rey most likely
It would be unfortunate if they spent all this time setting up a movie that absolutely no one is going to go see. Rey is and was always a shitty Mary Sue and nobody gives a fuck about what she's doing next except for eight-year-old girls whose dad loves Star Wars.
Ray and kylo not joining forces was the biggest let down of the ST Cause why not? Then entire movie we saw kylo resisting his masters teaching. The rebellion was in chambles and the first order was leaderless. Under their combined leadership the first order could have ended then and there. Instead ray acted like kylo was still evil and treated him as such so he reacted as such, cycle continues. Imagine instead of ep 9, instead we got a sith and a jedi trying to fix a broken galaxy together.
So not having luke han and chewie share a scene isn't the biggest let down to you ? But 2 nobody characters that no one gives 2 💩about is Disney wars fans right there
What happened to Luke Skywalker in his lost years is a question that I had in my mind for a long time. I remember that, in an early draft of the sequel trilogy, Luke had a baby girl. When Daisy Ridley said that the plot of her movie was about something unexpected, I speculated about the possibility of another Vader's grandchild. It would be awesome to continue the Skywalker Saga! Darth Talon, as the new villain, could be a great idea. After the destruction of the New Republic and the First Order, the criminal syndicates could take control of some territories. In a gangsters environment, she fits as a femme Fatale type character.
Well they need to cast Cillian Murphy in the Rey film. He'd be great in the SW universe, and with the Peaky Blinders guy writing it, that would be perfect.
I'm hoping Ahsoka pulls a Klye Katarn & become master to both Shin & Sabine. Changing the nature Sabine & Shin's relationship. From enemies to rivals, to strained allies to comrades & eventually into friends.
It will be cool to reveal that the old lady at the end of RoSW would be an older Shin Hati living in Tattooine trying to learn more about Anakin's origins, and then she will be the one teaching Ray how to become a grey Jedi.
Really would like to see the Jensaarai from legends. They have a blend of both the light and dark. And doesn't seem to corrupt them as a full dark side user or Sith.
Somehow Rey Palpatine returned. Disney writers watched this clip and scrambled to make the Rey movie related to the New Jedi Order series of books. "Why didn't we think of this?" "Don't ask questions, just make sure you have someone listen to the entire Screen Crush clip and siphon anything Ryan says!"

Maybe have Doctor Doom defeat Kang in Avengers 5 before being the big baddie in Avengers 6? MCU needs to get Doctor Doom right if Fantastic Four comes out. Cillian Murphy is a popular choice to portray DD but I'll be happy if it's Andrew Lincoln, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Bill Skargard, or Josh Hartnett. Victor von Doom supposedly stands at 6'2 and then 6'7 when armored similar to Darth Vader (the late David Prowse stood at 6'6). I read MCU Doctor Doom is a descendant of the Conquistadors who tussled with Namor. They're looking at *Javier* *Bardem* for the role. Latvia will be reimagined as a Mediterranean country. Kang simply isn't interesting enough from a narrative perspective. Doom is the more interesting character. Doctor Doom has the potential to be the greatest MCU villain of all-time up there with Loki, Thanos, and Hela. Those three are the only villains I found memorable. Doom needs to be in more than two movies. Then we can shift to Galactus after the heroes deal with Doom.
That is awesome, great video. I was really bummed that the skywalker blood line would not continue. I do hope Luke had a son who is out there in the galaxy
When the prequels were announced in ‘97, a very popular refrain was “Why? Who cares about seeing where Vader came from?”. We wanted a sequel trilogy, and were disappointed it would be prequels.

I like the idea of Shin Hattie being Rey’s antagonist as well as the Grey Jedi theory. Only thing is, I really like Ivanna’s portrayal of her. I’d say keep her and deep fake her as being older.
Agreed, but tbh, I hated Ahsoka almost as much as I hate Rey back in the day, so if Filoni is given creative control then maybe it'll pan out. All I can do is hope. I hope Rian Johnson always has a rock in his shoe.
I could also see Luke’s son, assuming that Rey is a relative, because of her last name, and being pushed over the edge to the dark side once he learns that she’s a Palpatine. Of course, she can always say she is a Skywalker from ~a certain point of view~.
It's weird that Baylon would have the Melenium Falcon crew on this wrist computer thing. Maybe we will see the crew in one of these live action series, they have already confirmed Luke and Leia just saiyan awsome reviews
I know some people are into the idea of the "gray jedi" and balance in the force meaning a balance between the Dark and the Light side of the force. BUT these ideas go against what George Lucas originally intended with his movies. The force is NOT a sort of Yin and Yang dichotomy where both sides are integral to understand the whole. The Light side has always been THE Force in it's pure natural form, and the dark side has always been the corruption of the Force. There has never been someone who uses the Dark Side and isn't corrupted. Sure you can come back from it, but only through a rejection of the Dark Side and commitment to the light. I personally don't like that direction that Disney seems to be going in. It's not the worst thing I guess they could do but it fundamentally changes my perception of the Force and the story as presented thus far.
I don't think Asoka is alive in Rey's timeline. We heard her as a force ghost at the end of Rise of Skywalker. I am pretty sure she will not be in the new Rey trilogy.
I see Jacen and Ezra in your theory big time! Like instead of Luke's son.. we have a young jedi and a former jedi(Yoda said it) who will have a wide open stage to tell the struggles and triumphs 😊
Hopefully, Rey’s New Jedi Order will be based on the ones in the Legends comics. This could be the canon Jedi Order that everyone deserves. Also I hope the galaxy goes into a dark age like Screencrush said in “The Empire Was Right” video
@@ForceMaximus84 we can’t do anything about it now. What’s done is done. We can’t turn back time. We just have to hope now for the future rather than be stuck in our fantasies of the past. I’m just curious about what happened after the Rise of Skywalker. I’m still hoping that Ryan’s idea of what could happen after tros does get written in the Rey trilogy; the galaxy enters a dark age and it’s up to Rey and her New Jedi Order to bring save the galaxy
So by saying: "no one is ever really gone" Luke meant his family, because he has a son stashed somewhere in another galaxy. He learned from Plapatine to always have a contingency plan :)
Gray Jedi are not happening, they've never been a thing and I really doubt they ever will be. George Lucas himself has always been against the concept, and I tend to agree with him. You don't just "let a little darkness in", if anything balance is to stop denying that your dark side exists, to stop denying that you are tempted and to acknowledge that this is part of you (all while still practicing adherence to the light). This is covered in the last episodes of Season 6 of Clone Wars when Yoda must confront his own dark side.
So this is off topic but previously I was confused because the movie “last Jedi” was referring to Luke, so I figured okay, the sith are gone, the Jedi are gone, it’s balanced and the Galaxy is ready for something new, but as I google the question is Rey a jedi? Google seems to say yes she is, and a grandmaster at that. So are the Jedi dead or are they alive. Like Ezra is a jedi but we don’t know where he is during the sequel trilogy he could be dead by that point for all we know
Nah at the very end Luke points out to Kylo about the Jedi living on through Rey thus she is the ‘last Jedi’ after he is gone. Then again, with the more recent releases, this could technically not be true but that is part of the failure of the sequel trilogy in my opinion. It was too self centered on it really being a sequel to the original trilogy while completely ignoring the fact that the legends comics/novels added so much extra to it to make statements like that stupid. Like they had canon t’ra saa and k’kurhk, who became jedi during the galactic republic era, being part of the Jedi high council 137 years after the battle of yavin. This being canon technically voids the idea of ‘return of the jedi’ at face value as that’s just not true if they survived that long. However, those movies were released before all of that was even an idea in the writers who wrote those stories to add to it as Star Wars just didn’t exist. Disney buying lucasfilm and completely disregarding the decades of additional lore that was added on in the sequel trilogy is just completely idiotic in that context as I see it. They could’ve still made their own new thing while still immediately including the lore that wasn’t part of the original trilogy. I only say original as I cant recall that much reference to the prequel trilogy except for the obvious ones they are majority also related to the original trilogy.
Legends and canon can be one continuity Stories being documented from different perspectives So From one perspective Jacen solo From another Jacen Syndulla and Ben solo From one perspective luke successfully recreates the Jedi order with Jaina solo being his successor In canon Luke order is destroyed but Rey continues what Luke started
We are missing an opportunity to tell an amazing story about evil midichlorians that threaten all life in the universe. A threat so grave and yet so small that they can only be defeated by a very small dog. Perhaps one with managerial experience….
In Rey’s next movie, based on what George Lucas said Ahsoka should be included to teach Jedi younglings, and Rey along with other Jedi can focus on the gangsters, slavery, small empire resistance throughout the galaxy
I liked Rey from Force Awakens, but feel like the writing failed the character. Hope we get better story for the character. Not sure why the hate on Daisy, she's just the actor. Reminds me of the hate Anakin child actor and Jar Jar binks actor treatment.
Thanks for your thoughtful and careful pulling together of the many many strands in the SWU. I personally think it would've been much much simpler if Disney simply de-canonized the SWU and allowed each section (Legends, Books, Movies, TV, etc.) to be its own legitimate SWU (i.e., a SW Multiverse). That way the shows like the Mandalorian won't be beholden to line-up with Eps. 7-9.
Ray will be the new Obie wan. She’ll have a young powerful apprentice and Ray will sacrifice herself for her padawan who will then fight the mother but the padawan like Luke will be a ancestor of the mother
If we're talking about Grey Jedi moving forward, it would seem there should be plans for Ezra to be incorporated into the story considering his displayed control of both the Light and Dark side, not to mention his experience with the Bendu.
Legends and canon can be one continuity
Stories being documented from different perspectives
So
From one perspective
Jacen solo
From another
Jacen Syndulla and Ben solo
From one perspective luke successfully recreates the Jedi order with Jaina solo being his successor
In canon
Luke order is destroyed but Rey continues what Luke started
Daisy ridley is a great actress, so i really hope they can do her justice with this movie personally im quite exciting for this movie.
We are missing an opportunity to tell an amazing story about evil midichlorians that threaten all life in the universe. A threat so grave and yet so small that they can only be defeated by a very small dog. Perhaps one with managerial experience….
Please stop.
Rey puts the "grrrrrrrrrrr" in "Grey Jedi".
Somehow a Palpatine formed the New Jedi Order....
Yeah, this is better than Luke Skywalker forming the New Jedi Order
I hope to see The Katana Fleet.
Do the Yuuzhan Vong hate the Jedi b/c lightsabers are mechanical or is there another ideological reason?
In Rey’s next movie, based on what George Lucas said Ahsoka should be included to teach Jedi younglings, and Rey along with other Jedi can focus on the gangsters, slavery, small empire resistance throughout the galaxy
What if Luke had a child........... with Ahsoka?!?!? 😯
I liked Rey from Force Awakens, but feel like the writing failed the character. Hope we get better story for the character. Not sure why the hate on Daisy, she's just the actor. Reminds me of the hate Anakin child actor and Jar Jar binks actor treatment.
The writing failed all characters…
despite the movie’s flaws I thought she was REALLY compelling in the last jedi and was super bummed out when they threw that plot line away
Elizabeth Olsen would be a good pick to play an older Shin Hati. They look very much alike.
Ray will be the new Obie wan. She’ll have a young powerful apprentice and Ray will sacrifice herself for her padawan who will then fight the mother but the padawan like Luke will be a ancestor of the mother
