- Steve Winwood, live and interviewed on Whistle Test, June 24th 1986. I recorded this on a Sony C6 Betamax VCR, using Sony video tape. By chance I recorded the full show, other guests were Martin Stephenson and the daintees, Suzanne Vega, Lets Active and The House Martins

How Brilliant is this Man?
Steve quietly blows up a fireworks factory.
So glad to see this clip - I can remember watching it on TV and was impressed with Steve's pint of bitter x
Thanks for watching and commenting Eve. :-)
so hard to find a piano-solo version of this song, it is so much better. I saw one on tv many years ago, but it doesn't seem to be on your tube ... thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you for watching and commenting
@Ste Hesketh Yes, it could have been that. I vaguely remembered it as the old grey whistle test, or that one that was presented by Jools Holland ... but something like that.
After watching The Beatles MMT in B&W today ( I wondered what it would look like when it was first shown in 67. I think it's better in B&W!!. Sorry Mr McCartney, I think the critics at the time were right, watching in colour wouldn't help it :) ) I went on Wiki and found out that there is an outtake of Traffic performing, I thought I'd check out YT to see if it was on here. It isn't, but I found this!! It was the first time I heard the wonderful The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. I remember thinking Gimmie Some Lovin sounds like Homer Banks A Lot Of Love. It was this video that got me into Stevie and his various groups. Never thought I'd see this again!! Thanks STV
Thanks for commenting Khaz. I often wonder why people watch my videos, so I love all the detail you gave🙂
@@ScottishTeeVee We're a weird lot.
God bless you, Steve !!!
Thanks for being one of the few fans to comment
More talent on the piano than the past 10yrs of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees
You are absolutely right. Thanks for watching and commenting
Superb
Glad you found it and enjoyed it, thanks for commenting
Genius
Why the dig on the "not so great" Blind Faith lp?
Yeah what, that caught me off-guard too. Blind Faith is highly-regarded in terms of rock supergroups, and rightfully so.
During his shampoo commercial period. His playing is great though!
Glad you enjoyed this
