I love the old body style of this Fairlane, but you have to remember she has been around for a long time and she still has a lot to give for her age .For she is old but grandma was never perfick and what a good price for this lady. Some love is needed, but her body still has a lot to say.
What's up with the piece of front suspension that's hanging really low on the drivers side behind the front wheel. It's way to low whatever it is
Something hanging under driver's side front wheel assembly; could be reason it pulls right, under breaking? Pretty nice ride, though 👌

I like this car, and the price, seems fair. I think the Ford Fairlane and the Torino had what this roof line style is referred to as a formal roof, kind of middle ground between a sedan and a fastback. for a short period. I bet your local tire and wheel guy love to see you guys coming.
I will adopt this ride. And advertise maplemotors instead of those 68 labels. It will have a forever home, and given true love. 👍

I bought a car very similar to this in 1985 for $250. Im an old Ford guy and I like this body. This car needs a serious butt ton of work. Good candidate for a complete restoration. 351, C6 or T5, limited slip 9, body and paint. Figure 15 g if you do it yourself. Add the interior or keep it? Gotta lose that awful dash.
Our neighbor had one. What a super cool car!!! Theirs was green on the outside and I don’t know how many shades of green vinyl on the inside.
Has them glasspacs under her , sounds good awesome! Horn works the AC is working fantastic and very cold u turned it down that's a major plus for this ride😊

Timing a bit advanced on start up idling a bit high hard start, is it a c4 tranny or fmx slippin a bit low on fluid or bands are worn overall a great car 😊😂
Id remove the graphics from the hood and trunk.... Probably paint it a different color and fix that dash ... but other than that, nice car

I have no doubt that what you see hanging down under the frontend is the power steering cylinder. I have a car with the same setup.

Dash is pretty bad, slipping transmission isn’t good, power steering not working, looks like trans kick down linkage hanging from underneath, sounds good, looks like it rides nice, probably needs tie rods due to sloppy steering. AC blows cold is a plus. I wonder if the 68 is a sticker?

Well, this is my own opinion, it's in good shape for the age and actually its priced right for the car that it is, my opinion would be a excellent daily driver and I would definitely rather have this for the buck, than a new vehicle, because of up keep as well OK ❤😊
This decals on the hood and trunk would definitely go, and the side ones are fine 🙂

Funny how Ford redesigned their fullsize Fairlane & Galaxies from 67&68 kind of like 68-72 bigger more luxurious for sure the gold 68 Fairlane in video is clean car but interior dashboard is confusing
The Fairlane&Torino is Ford's mid-size car line in this generation. The Galaxie is Ford's full-size car line and almost a foot longer than the Fairlane. The Fairlane has a unit-body frame and the Galaxie is a body-on-frame car.
Give me a 68 an I'll owe you 1 is all I could figure out.

@@markmclendon8621 Also a lot easier to find than a 351C. A 5.0 out of a late model Mustang would be a nice swap. Also replace the C4 with an automatic overdrive.
