I really like the basic interior design. My slight concern is that some of the reviewers say the dashboard is somewhat flimsy and not very robust compared to the current model (which I own). Also, it is not obvious where the different controls are now for basic functions like the windscreen wipers, opening the boot or setting the engine on/off modes. These are currently very easy to access and it appears they are no longer available as button selections.
Does anyone know, if in new Superb there’s a possibility for double glass windows for noise isolation, like it is in new Passat? Or VAG kept it only for VW models?
Disappointed from the automatic gear lever on the steering column in my opinion takes away the "sporty" feel. First impression from this presentation: car looks great, superior interior with great looks inside out. Skoda team you nailed it! Well done 👍

Looks like an Octavia with upgraded interior. Door plastics are same (at least pattern/looks). Its going to follow the Octavia concept - high-end looks with poor materials. But all depends on pricing, of course - if priced well could be a hit.
It seems I saw 50k will be like a normally equipped 1.5 TSI version. Which is kinda a lot, since current gent L&K you can find with 280hp 4x4 for like 48k brand new.
The exterior is cooler than generation 3, but the interior is pitiful in gen 4 compared to gen 3. The driver's lcd clocks in rectangular format on a classic dashboard, round above them and which are not embedded in the dashboard (it can be seen as if leaning, propped by the dashboard). In the middle, a large tablet above the dashboard that reduces visibility in front of the driver, which will distract you, big mistakes, mostly aesthetic but also unnecessary. It's a pity that the change desired by Skoda is in a negative sense regarding the dashboard. The one who designed the dashboard for Pasaaat and Superb should be fired. Congratulations anyway for keeping the sedan version, another big misunderstanding why vw gave up on the sedan, no one understands this. Only Germany wants station wagons, the rest of the market wants sedans! The manual gearbox is in demand less and less, but there are still many who still want a manual gearbox, including me. The dashboard is horrible from head to tail, it ruins the whole car.
@@sniper2771 Look more carefully, especially at the position and appearance of the LCD from the driver's seat. If they did like the Octavia 4, it would be much better, I would actually continue to buy this model, which I will not do again. It's a horrible dashboard.

I have superb wagon 2021 and I hate to look down on this screen.. no head up display and big knop for gearbox completely useless cause you not change the gear if you change you use paddles.. I love wagons they useful now everybody drive momys cars bloody SUV... I know in upcoming years I will change either for new skoda or Mercedes rest is trash ...
I'm so sorry that they put in a show up car such a badly sewed seats. Please look at the bolsters, they already have wrinkle issues. Probably Skoda chose the cheapest leather supplier for this project. Terrible.
