Fighting to Remove Melted Thermocouple Adjusting Pilot Flame

Nice job. A couple of suggestions..Pick up some broaches..reemers to clean the orifices..hold up the orifice to the light to check it.
Brush the burners while they’re out .

Your lucky you got that out so easy. Thermocouples with brass mounts will never do that.

Just a suggestion, the Klein magnetic 1/4 and 5/16 long nut drivers are excellent for hvac/electrical work. Bought the 2 pack a few weeks ago and worth every penny

thats what mines doing on my furnace. the pilots basically a flame thrower but everything else seems normal.
