Thanks for your super great show!!! I always love watching it....so informative!!!.......probably met you years ago when visiting Memphis and going to the memorbillia shows......they are always my favourite because I've been a collector since the early 60's (have been a fan since '56 when I was 8).....I have most of the bootlegs and started getting them away back when they first started.......I did meet Elvis in '67 and '68 when we went to L.A. to see him.....then saw and recorded 30 shows from 69 to 76....(shared and bootlegs are out of the shows I recorded)......Elvis was as sweet in person as he looked.......keep up the great work and I will spread the word for true fans to watch your informative show! Thanks!!!! A true fan and collector from Western Canada.......
I am a fan for about 50 years, l was about 10 years "old" when it started for me with Elvis. I saw your show for the first time and: l love it! I hope you get more subscribers, you are absolutely right with the different Channels... so, thank you for all the Info and the insights Greetings from Switzerland
This is Mark from London England.I’ve been watching your shows from the first one on wards and think that you and Johnny B are just great. I’ve been a Elvis fan since I was about 8 or 9 (1973,1974) ,I just to introduce myself really and say how much I am enjoying your shows and that your a big help with my collecting although most of my collection is the British stuff, maybe you could do a show on British releases ?. Keep up the good work.TCB.
Hello Bob, Carol, and John, Memphis shows are Not going to be the same without Ya'll. We have been Great friends and have had alot of fun for years. Ya'll will be missed. Another Great show and will stay in touch. a friend, Dennis
Love the show! In regards to Eminem, he has 220 million worldwide album sales and counting so he's certainly up there in terms of rap & hip hop. Love your show, looking forward to ep 21!
Great episode Robert! When I was in Memphis a few weeks prior to Elvis Week at the complex I was floored that they closed everything by 5pm. Other people there were commenting on that and were just as surprised as I was. I went to the 11:30 am Graceland tour and still didn't get in everything I wanted to see in the complex by 5. With the planes not being very close I didn't get to see them at all. I agree with everything you said. I miss the 90s lol. As always thank you for all that you do with this amazing show! ⚡️TCB⚡️
Adriane. It appears the people who run things at Graceland look at the complex as if it were just another Wal-Mart or commercial property. They could care less about the fans, nor do they care about ELVIS. It will be their undoing. Sad.
We were just in Graceland last week and I was shocked they closed so early. Even the main gift shop in the ticketing area pulled the steel gate down half way around 20 minutes to closing, so it made it awkward so we just left.
Thank u, I always said that the Colonel wudnt be famous without Elvis Presley. We need to see the unused footage of Elvis On Tour nd That's The Way It Is. Love the movie , don't want the soundtrack like it is.
Finally watched this episode. Well done as always. I think part of the issue with your low number of subscribers is that I think a lot of people are into Elvis the personality and the music becomes second. With videos about what door Elvis walked through at some random arena in 1976 getting more people watching than your videos suggest to me that the music and the album releases have become less important. Hopefully that trend changes and more people dig deeper into the music and the great albums that are out there.
First time tuning in with you great work very interesting. I’m totally onboard with you on the Colonel I believe he was yes a great promoter but awful manager , you went on to say “I don’t think the Col killed Elvis” and yes true but Elvis lost focus ambition he as you know was caught up in mundane contracts it became mechanical and that killed him and that was the Col’s fault . Best wishes from Ireland 🇮🇪 TCB
I was sorry I didn't get to Memphis this year . I would've loved to meet you Roberto. I did buy from you a few years back. Please keep doing your show it's very informative and helpful. I don't want more johnny B, I want more of you talking more about vinyl and Elvis. Thank you for this episode. Keep up the great work.
Great to hear your experiences in Memphis! I'll do what i can to promote your show on FECC which I I've been a member of for more than 20 years. And yes, I agree, Johnny B and you are great together on the show. Your review of the movie brought up a lot of emotions for me... it was touching and it was nice to hear your perspective. BTW... If I Can Dream (by Elvis) is on the digital version of the soundtrack.
And you're definitely right about Colonel Tom Parker it wasn't the Elvis that wouldn't be no Colonel Tom Parker keep up with the good work with your videos because I think they're great
Robert regarding getting more subscribers... may I make a suggestion: at the beginning of each episode, after your brief greeting and intro, I think it would help if you make a statement like “before we get started please take a moment and hit the like button, and if you like what we do here, please hit the subscribe button ...I sure do appreciate it.. now let’s get started .” Likes are important because TH-cam will suggest people watch your episodes based on the number of likes. Likes get your episodes seen and shared more. I have noticed allot of the popular TH-camrs I watch always make a similar statement at the beginning and end of each episode. Hope that helps. I love your channel it is one of the best out there. Truly. TCB
J A KMPS. Thank you so much for the insight into how this whole crazy TH-cam thing works. I'm still learning. I will take your suggestion and do so on the next show. TCB!
Hi Robert love your show keep up cool work my friend good lucky hope you 1000 subscribers look forword more great elvis video totally agree about the Colonel, elvis would beter at sun records you right someone come long to help elvis out hope Johnny B come back on your show outstanding show keep up great work take care
Thanks for this. I've just subscribed. I'm glad I've already been to Graceland and Tupelo about 20 years ago. I wonder if I'll ever go back. Would you agree with 'spa guy's comment that it's not safe in Memphis anymore and people should stay away? The fact that you said you would not be going back again makes me wonder if this is true.
I agree with most of the things Sap Guy said on the lack of security around Graceland and that area. But it's always been that way, it's just gotten worse with all the recent criminal laws changing. Overall, Memphis is still a beautiful city and like any other city, it has it's safe and unsafe areas.
Jules. I doubt there will be the right kind of changes made. But for now, as things are, I'm not going back. That being said, I am open to the 50th anniversary, only IF there was a safer location to do the show.
Subscribed. One more on the way to the first thousand subscribers. I have a question. Where are the FTD releases sold at? Is it the shop Elvis or shop Graceland sites or does FTD have its own website that I haven’t seen yet? Thanks so much to anyone who can let me know.
There WILL BE in fact, an FTD release in 2023. However, this is the first I've heard that "Johnny B. Goode" will be put back at the beginning of "Elvis On Tour"?? Where did this info come from?
@@collectingtheking Thanks for the reply, Rob. it would be absolutely the greatest thing if JBG was, in truth, put back in "Elvis On Tour" at the beginning after Elvis's small speech but....I guess we're still getting the "botched" Blu-ray of "Elvis On Tour" with the "Don't Be Cruel" intro....which, in my opinion, is quite ironic if you think about it. I'm still hoping, though, that we get the blu-ray with JBG near the start of the movie, though, since this IS the 50th anniversary year of the film.
I, for one, tell everyone about this show, and why oh why you don’t have more subscribers is a sin. You get many TH-cam’s on Elvis doing exactly what Robert explains, but for people about the music and informative information and hardly a 1000 subscribers. A damn shame. Hang in there Rob.
I live in BUCHAREST, ROMANIA. I watched every episode. I love the show! Absolutely great! TCB

Wow. To actually have met Elvis is something I will always dream about. You lived it. How cool is that? Thanks for watching.
I really enjoyed this video. I’ll be stopping by more often.
Enjoyed this one a great deal. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it

Great show and great info. Lets get 1000!
Robert. Please keep these videos coming! So important and greatly appreciated.
More to come!
Thanks for the episode. Enjoyed it very much. I got emotional when they morphed to Elvis singing Unchained Melody in the Elvis movie. Got to me.
Me too. TCB
Another outstanding show
Rob you had me from the first show. I hope you get to 1000 subscribers and you should. Thanks for all your time and efforts putting this together.
Robert the guy who speaks only in French, it's me Jean Gilbert but I'm from Quebec in Canada.
Hello Jean Gilbert. I believe I made the change to the sub-titles, so you should now be able to read in French. Let me know. TCB

Hey John, your wish is my command. Check out the next show. TCB

I'm sorry to hear that you won't do another show in Memphis. I hope they make improvements for the next big 50th anniversary in 2027.
Jules. I doubt there will be the right kind of changes made. But for now, as things are, I'm not going back. That being said, I am open to the 50th anniversary, only IF there was a safer location to do the show.
@@collectingtheking I totally agree with you. Safety is the priority.
Totally agree about the Colonel, I made exactly the same point in my review of the movie. He damaged Elvis’ artistic career.
Hello Robert
You did not put the subtitles option on your video 20.
I can't translate into French
If you don't mind me asking, how do you know that Johnny B Goode is restored on the box set blu ray? I haven't seen it confirmed anywhere. Thanks.
It was something that was being said in Memphis. I had assumed that Ernst said something about it at the "unboxing".
Forgot to ask about price guide. We are at the 5 yr. mark and hope it does not end.
We'll see. Need to sell more copies of the current one to make that happen. TCB.

The best place is directly from Graceland, when they are announced for pre-order.
@@collectingtheking Is there a list I should sign up for to get alerts from Graceland?

Okay FTD see if you can do better then that Amiga box set.
I would like to see more Nipper. I will take Nipper over Johnny B. ,>)
Colonel Parker impersonator? Wow.
A Col. P impersonator?
