You Sir, are having to much Fun. I'm sorry, but we are going to have to ask you to leave until the rest of us get one of these Awesome Creations. Very Nice Vid.
That's why I like my Revo 3.3, it has reverse, and it's 4 wheel drive. I want to get a 1/5 scale truck eventually, but right now, they are out of my price range. Great video, and nice truck.
I was watching some rc car videos on youtube and this baja caught my eye, didn't know the price then but I fell in love in one of the most expensive rc cars, damn
@exdeath77 Get that sucker airbourne! Don't be scared. If the nose starts to dip blat the throttle - the giro effect will help pull the nose back up. If the nose lifts in a high speed jump you can hit & hold the brakes mid-air and it will have a small effect on bringing the nose down a touch.
... forgot to say. From the swishing sound in this video the diff sounds very dry. Probably why it broke. Thats common on these tho. Some come with lubed diffs, some with not-so-lubed diffs. I dismantled mine for a lube and rebuild the first day i got it before even firing the engine up. Check out the Baja on a buget Diff build vids on here. Great stuff on getting your differential smooth
@DrnkSqrrlProductions I know what it is, i own a Baja 5T myself. The gyro effect does work on these too even though they are only RWD, obviously not as much as a 4WD though - but you do still get a reduced gyro effect, its helped me get level a few times.. I'll go further to say that even the steering can be tweaked mid-air to correct the jump roll balance.
Damn that thing is awesome. What make and model is that? I just got back into the whole rc scene with a kyosho subaru ep fazer. Even if I had a badass truck like yours I'd have nothing like that place around here to have that kinda fun in. All I have is semi bumpy dirt lots to play in hense the subi. You lucky bastard XD
@BashMonkeyRC I agree. The other Video of the 5T I saw it looked really good, this one not so much. My heavily modded Stampede 2wd would dominate in that pit. Still a sick truck though and cool vid!
I just got my traxxas slash special edition and im waiting impatiently to get it off that stupid charger ahhh its frustrating this video makes me want to more but still awesome
@exdeath77 True, but in super loose stuff like this you could always use 4x4. Yeah i guess half-plotted brakes might be a crucial downfall. Yeah but then again its an HPI kit so it'll automatically be expensive. A few other brands have also tried a similar design, like the Redcat Dunerunner & the Exceed Barca (4x4 btw). Hobbyking even made a clone of the baja but its only $370. Alotta people claim they'll be just as spendy replacing breakable parts, but actually even so it'll still be cheaper.
+exdeath77 Okay. Thank´s for Information. My Bruder has the HPI Baja 5b with the Trevor Simpson Reed Case Engine 30,5ccm. That Engine is a really beast. It makes between 6,5 or 7,5 HP / 5KW.
that place looks like wicked fun... i have 2 5bs and a bash the hell outa them. they are built like brick shithouses they pretty much never break the only part iv'e had to replace was a stripped servo gear.. its all good tho. i got the paddle tires and lunitik skis they are awesome.
@exdeath77 ok and wat 2 cycle oil do u use like does it really matter becuase i have an ace hardware which is a hardware store and it sells 2 cycle oil for like 2 bucks but does it have to be like realy goood stuff
@exdeath77 Is there anyway of checking the diffs and the amount of oilin them wityhout taking the diff out - i mean is there a port which u can remove to see the amount of oil in the diffs? Also how regularly do u believ the diffs should be checked?
@exdeath77 the new 5B's have the 26cc, just like the 5t, what i was wondering is which one is better offroad, i really like the 5B but i dont want to just go to the desert, i wanna hit jumps, go around tracks, can the 5B handle that or only the 5T ? thanks
Idk, im not saying they're bad by any means. But they just aren't wide enough for my liking. I can take any corner at any speeds with my T-maxx and never flip the thing. I feel like baja's cant do the same. But i also don't know TO much about the hobby, my father and i have invested over 2 grand in the past 10 years in my T-maxx. Maybe we just made it wider?
@exdeath77 Did u gt yours in the UK or elsewhere, cos i talkd to a couple of stores who sell the Baja in the UK including HPI main distributor in the UK and they all said the baja's diffs came full of oil - dnt really want to take apart the entire rear end as soon as i gt the car?
I'm not going bad mouth the hpi 5T.... I have the losi 5T,,, its bigger, wider, has a lower center of gravity has four wheel drive, massive shocks, that's because it weighs almost 40lbs... both trucks use the 26cc power plant so the hpi has the advantage off the line but that's it. At speed the hpi is very unstable when on the gas and under braking. The losi has separate brakes for the front and rear, takes a little to get the brake balance right but when dialed in its unbeatable in the corners. The losi has three diffs , by using heavier diff fluid it almost locks the diff... another thing to experiment with.... the hpi sand blaster paddles tires will fit the losi rims and you can use the stock foam... I put a bartalone( low/ mid range ) tuned pipe on and what a difference it makes. The hpi has been around for a lot longer, but the losi has just as much aftermarket performace parts available. Going to install a OBR 30.5 cc motor and will still be able to use the bartalone pipe, I live in oregon and shred the sand dunes..... but as far as the hpi I do like the way it pulls wheelies but when on the track I'm sticking with my losi..... remember objects in the mirror are losing sorry hpi
@exdeath77 so , if your 5T can go 65kph with a 26cc, how fast would a 5B go with a 30.5cc engine? i heard somewhere around 80-90 kph, is that even possible?
***** Are those stock 5B wheels and tires you put on the rear? I've been thinking about converting my 5B to a 5T but can't afford wheels and tires for a while. Those don't look too bad.
Great video, and nice truck.
then get a rovan for half the price ?
I enjoyed your clip. Great stuff! Thanks for posting.
I was watching some rc car videos on youtube and this baja caught my eye, didn't know the price then but I fell in love in one of the most expensive rc cars, damn
Thats a pretty cool area you have for thrashing!......Cool stuff bro.
I like the way these trucks sound! Better than the annoying mosquito sound.
Nice camera work ,nice rig ,looks fun.
i like that youre driving on a place like that, it is entertaining :-)
Al fin logre tener mi baja 5t gracias a Dios
Great video! Nice truck!
...almost need sand paddles tires for that place.. 8-) Nice ride!
great vid, great play ground, i liked the video
@exdeath77 Get that sucker airbourne! Don't be scared. If the nose starts to dip blat the throttle - the giro effect will help pull the nose back up. If the nose lifts in a high speed jump you can hit & hold the brakes mid-air and it will have a small effect on bringing the nose down a touch.
nice spot to run there!!! good driving!

Very nice! My only question is, why wasn't the baja made in 4x4? It seems like it would've helped with traction tremendously.
Awesome truck I'm getting one soon .
@DrnkSqrrlProductions I know what it is, i own a Baja 5T myself. The gyro effect does work on these too even though they are only RWD, obviously not as much as a 4WD though - but you do still get a reduced gyro effect, its helped me get level a few times.. NIce driving bro. Im deffinatly getting the 5t.......... when i can afford it. But love the video XD
looks like a fun place to run at.
now that is one tough truck
@ Triston Jones
that depends totally on your environment, what you can afford, and where you want to run it.
Good driving!!!
awesome video.when you will buy this car how much its cost?
The vid is great and the truck is awesome! Is that a custom body?
I have one and it is a lot of fun to drive
Very good video and very good the truck ... Argentine am
im not much of a nitro/gas guy but this thing is awsome!!! it wold be freaking sweet to make a electric version with a couple mamba monsters in it!!!
You lucky bastard XD
awesome machine!!
dieses car is so geil man ich will es auch haben verdammt noch mal
wow, that sounds like my 2 stroke dirtbike without a muffler
@exdeath77 you can get the king motors version for $800. its the same design, just a off-brand motor and electronics.
the sound is great :D
@BashMonkeyRC I agree. The other Video of the 5T I saw it looked really good, this one not so much. My heavily modded Stampede 2wd would dominate in that pit. Still a sick truck though and cool vid!
@exdeath77 Awesome truck man! I'm curious why do all 5t owners put different wheels on the rear and front?
@exdeath77 so u could still use the stock 5t rims and stuff but u would just need 5b inserts and 5b tires.
fun times for sure!
I just got my traxxas slash special edition and im waiting impatiently to get it off that stupid charger ahhh its frustrating this video makes me want to more but still awesome

@exdeath77 ya thaqt car is awesome how do u like the pipe
Good Video. Wich Engine works in that Baja 5t?
It look´s there´s not so powerful.
+exdeath77 Okay. Thank´s for Information.
My Bruder has the HPI Baja 5b with the Trevor Simpson Reed Case Engine 30,5ccm. That Engine is a really beast. It makes between 6,5 or 7,5 HP / 5KW.
i just noticed that of all the baja vids ive watched not one of them has had the baja open the throttle all the way out for a period of time
sweet jesus thats awesome!
cool place!!!
@sjiyuey sounds good. only downside to it i would say is the pricetag.
I love Baja :-)
that place looks like wicked fun... i have 2 5bs and a bash the hell outa them. they are built like brick shithouses they pretty much never break the only part iv'e had to replace was a stripped servo gear.. its all good tho. i got the paddle tires and lunitik skis they are awesome.
@exdeath77 ok and the stock tires on the 5t are those any good or would you recomend buying new ones becuase the rear ones expecially arent good.
YA thanx alot.... now I want one ... lol looks like fun
best rc ever!!!
ok cool and for gas wat octane do u use
DUDE ID LOVE TO TEAR UP THAT PLACE WITH MY 150cc SAZUKI!! EPIC!
@exdeath77 ok and wat 2 cycle oil do u use like does it really matter becuase i have an ace hardware which is a hardware store and it sells 2 cycle oil for like 2 bucks but does it have to be like realy goood stuff
I know that feeling, man.
@exdeath77 Is there anyway of checking the diffs and the amount of oilin them wityhout taking the diff out - i mean is there a port which u can remove to see the amount of oil in the diffs?
Also how regularly do u believ the diffs should be checked?
nice video
was this the first time , that the screws of the diff-house came loose ?
this car doesn´t overheat so fast right ?
not really sure what this king motor clone stuff is but i would recomend the stock 5b or 5t and just buy hopups at ddm
@exdeath77 the new 5B's have the 26cc, just like the 5t, what i was wondering is which one is better offroad, i really like the 5B but i dont want to just go to the desert, i wanna hit jumps, go around tracks, can the 5B handle that or only the 5T ? thanks
why does everyone have a kick ass spot to drive except me!?
Idk, im not saying they're bad by any means. But they just aren't wide enough for my liking. I can take any corner at any speeds with my T-maxx and never flip the thing. I feel like baja's cant do the same. But i also don't know TO much about the hobby, my father and i have invested over 2 grand in the past 10 years in my T-maxx. Maybe we just made it wider?
BADASS , YOU SHOULD MOUNT A CAMERA ON IT AND FILM IT
@exdeath77 Did u gt yours in the UK or elsewhere, cos i talkd to a couple of stores who sell the Baja in the UK including HPI main distributor in the UK and they all said the baja's diffs came full of oil - dnt really want to take apart the entire rear end as soon as i gt the car?
@exdeath77 so is that like 12 gallons or what and how many clutches have you gone through and what clutches do u use, stock one or aftermarket.
i love rc
Hvor er dette? Så skikkelig kult ut å kjøre der :D
What gearing are you using on it? Wicked video!!!
NORSK!!! BRA, HVOR KJØRER DU?? ;) har kjøpt meg hpi baja 5 sc :)
@exdeath77 ok thanks and do the baja 5b wheels work just as good on the 5t as the 5t wheels becuase there smaller.
@N15H08 "Baja 5T is a 1:5 scale 26ccm gasoline powered RC-car"
Das Auto sied geil aus
can you make a video that how to tune a nitro buggy rc
add the 28.5 cc it will put out 8.25hp,the 100 dollar kit is well worth it and wakes it right up!
nice. where did you get this from and how much did it cost ?
@exdeath77 how often do u run yours and how many tanks would u say u have put through it and how long have you had it/
Hey from where i can buy these things, plus is it a petrol powered engine? 0r a normal battery powered
hey how do u like ur baja and is that the ddm pipe that ur using and if it is how do u like it. and im just curious why do u have 5b weels on the rear
Tis is my dream!
@exdeath77 did ur truck have it's differential full of oil when u bought it rtr?
@exdeath77 Will diff break if u run the truck with no oil in the diff?
Also does the truck do 70KPH
VERY COOOOL
cooool truck!!
How much are they cuase i want to get one but can't find the price anywhere???

I would go with losi too

wow...thats a nice place to bash....
But a T-Maxx isn't 1/5th scale. Would be cool if they made one though.
mange i Norge som har den der, fornøyd med den? vurderer selv en 5sc 2013.
men hvor mye olje skal i bensinen?
nice vid man that was very cool like n sub for you :)
@exdeath77 so it feels faster. and would u say it has better accellaration.
what is the main difference between the 5t and the 5b, only body or what?
@exdeath77 so , if your 5T can go 65kph with a 26cc, how fast would a 5B go with a 30.5cc engine? i heard somewhere around 80-90 kph, is that even possible?
Ohh thx for the info
Why add smaller tires for the rear?

What is that you're driving in? a constuction site?
Plus a car on the motorway looks fast at 60mph but a frieght train doing 60mph looks slow the size of the moving object has alot to do with it too.
