I purchased that Citizen a few years ago for $90. What a bargain. Citizen makes a fantastic quartz. Their Promaster line is the best watch you can get for the money.
Timex Marlin 34mm mechanical standard dial my favorite currently made dress watch less expensive than a Cartier Tank. It is properly sized for a dress watch, which is rare these days and incredibly elegant and wearable even for those who would wear a 40mm sports watch.
I have a Bulova Hack. Glad to see it featured in your video. It has a domed mineral crystal. It is not double domed. If it were double domed, you would not see the warping effect when looking at the dial.
It is a great looking watch! That’s an interesting point. We referenced Bulova directly as the source for this - it’s listed as double domed mineral crystal in the product details on their site: www.bulova.com/us/en/product/98A255.html
@@Hiconsumption Hi. Thanks for the reply . . . and the link. I followed it and read the description. I’ve cut and pasted the following language: “Domed mineral crystal.” Bulova does not describe it as double domed. The domed crystal is a distinctive and readily apparent feature, IMO. I have a doubled domed sapphire crystal on a vintage Omega. The double dome cut eliminates the warping when viewing the dial at an angle.
@@zplapplap Ah yes, I see what you're reading in the top description. If you head on down to "Product Details" and expand the tech specs with the "+" sign (which is where we cross referenced when scripting), you'll see it reads, "Double Domed Mineral Crystal." Weird that Bulova would have conflicting information on their model - on their own site. I took a screenshot for quick reference: ibb.co/nnCrvNq Definitely hear ya and agree on it being a more distinct feature. We'll shoot an email over to Bulova to inquire about this as well. Hopefully they'll have something to say. Thanks for the input and for support! 🙏
@@Hiconsumption Thanks for the time and for looking into it. I enjoy your content. Like some of the others commenting, the Citizen captured my attention.
The Bulova is a really good affordable budget field watch! I think there's a ridiculous amount of choice around ther $300 range, not a bad selection but mine would be different
I have the SRPE53 a.k.a (DressKX), it's even better in person and is a strap monster with its versatility especially at 100m water resistance. I obtained this watch at $160 at a Seiko AD. Highly recommended for the everyday watch category in your collection.
I have been wanting to splurge on a watch for Christmas, that Dan Henry 1962 looks sweet, that might be the one. The seiko 5 sport and citizen garrison were nice too
For me, that Orient its the pinnacle of classic look. But i ended up buying a full metal G-Shock, because i needed a...full metal watch + bracelet, being less alergic.
It really is almost identical to the UG. There's a very few tiny differences like the colour of the second hand, but other than those they're really close. That said, the panda Nina is stunning so if you're going to take 'inspiration' from somewhere, there aren't many better places.
Thanks so much for you three guides showing budget watches. I bought my godson a fake MoonSwatches and missed timing for refund. Long story. Now I can still buy quality at an affordable price. Much appreciated
Only thing I’ll say about the bulova is day one of wearing it I scraped the crystal on the corner of my wood table and it was so deep it wouldn’t buff out.
Interesting and refreshing suggestions. I recommend Wolbrook Skindiver Worldtimer Meca-quartz in this price range. Very underrated watches. As for Timex, I do not agree that they are among the best at this price range. They look great from the outside, but inside they usually have cheap and unreliable no-name Chinese movements, and the quality of workmanship is so-so - hands fall off easily, etc. The only Timex I would buy is the Timex Q Chrono because it looks great and has a good Epson quartz movement. But that's just my opinion.
For a field watch under 300 the bes option is the Seiko, 30mWR it´s a shame an no-sense for a field watch, so the Buloba is not the option. And under 300, the Orient Kamasu is a must.
How has Dan Henry not yet fogured out what all other watch companies did decades ago which is real men don't want to wear something with another man's name on it. We will tolerate a single last name but that's it.
Huge warning for Dan Henry. Their watches is pretty nice for the price but their customer service is the worst I ever experienced. They made me pay for return shipping when they sent the wrong watch... Never experienced anything similar with any company and the employee (Marcelo) I emailed was the rudest person I ever written to. I googled it and saw others that have had similar problems with their customer service. I even got in contact with Dan but he was rude as well. Nice watches but absolutely horrible company
30 meters of water resistance does not mean 30 meters deep below the sea. It means 3 atmospheres of pressure . Pressure impacts the watch when you move it through water such as swimming or diving. 30 meters of water resistance means a watch is splashproof or rainproof at best. To swim with a watch you need at least 100m but ideally 200m of WR. A little bit of research before making your video would’ve told you that.
Yeah ! You are right maybe. Because it seems like you are in the wrong video and you are a smart watch lover maybe 🤭. And smart watch lovers never can't understand this kind of contents 🤣.
That Dan Henry watch is really nice, thanks for including it. I had never heard of the brand before
it's a glorified pagani design pd1701 innit
I purchased that Citizen a few years ago for $90. What a bargain.

Same here, 95$ in 2019 still works like a charm love citizen ❤

The timex is enough unlike a rolex ,and has a easy battery replacement looks that its going on my hit list
That Orient Bambino is a fine watch...definitely on my list now
13:07 Love the Look!
Great video refreshing and inspiring to see some legit timepieces and not just spec monsters with dangerous bracelets , thanks for posting
That Citizen watch is a beaut
No, u are 😩
No u 😩

that Timex looks beautiful! wow!
It is, I own it, and it's beckjevmy daily despite having a Submariner, Seamaster 300m, Navitimer and DateJust41. It's really an incredible piece
The Bulova is a really good affordable budget field watch! I think there's a ridiculous amount of choice around ther $300 range, not a bad selection but mine would be different
where can buy this bulova?
Tissot PRX Quartz is also a great watch. You can usually find a deal for below 300 USD.
The citizen was classy.

Great list. First time stumbling on this channel thank you TH-cam algorithm
Glycine with quartz movement should be in the list
My favourite is the Timex , unique ⌚
"the doomed sapphire" 2:25 at Timex is just a "scratch me anytime" acryl
Timex 1972 and Bulova Hack my favorites
Nice picks 👏
Some good looking picks.
I was born in 1972 so that Timex is very tempting...
I cannot believe the Orient Kamasu was left off of this list.
Definitely dig the Kamasu! We opted for the Bambino for our pick from Orient, but don’t think you can go wrong with either one though.
Hi, do you think the 38mm Timex Q Pepsi will look good on 6.7mm wrist? Also what is the size of the strap?

just found a Dan Henry in dark brown leather, back dial and gold touch, amazing watch
Is that the standard band for the Bulova Hack?
The 1962 is a Universal Geneve Nina Rindt one of the most beautiful watches ever created

The Timex 1972 looks real interesting but all those location typos are shocking. Dehli, Bagdad, Singapour 😂
20:17 the full aligator leather strap, flips it over and it says calf
He says “faux” alligator strap - not “full.” 👍
@@Hiconsumption good catch!
Eager to see updates on other price ranges! 👌🏼 keep it up!
Anyone know where I can get this particular timex world timer? Really digging that one. Seen other variants of it but I like the one shown here.
That bulova hack is gorgeous but that 30m water resistance is soooo weak. 100m resistance with screw down crown and I’d grab it immediately
Only thing I’ll say about the bulova is day one of wearing it I scraped the crystal on the corner of my wood table and it was so deep it wouldn’t buff out.
Did the SRPE53 always have a brushed bezel? My one is polished
Edit: nvm, you have the SRPE63
Timex looking great, but when see Quartz print on dial, nope! Should put mechanical movement instead much better I think.

Timex Q gmts have Swiss movements
That typo on Timex though... Dehli
what do you think about the citizen tsuyosa ?
ı have one green and one blue, they are lovely. ı love the green better btw.
Hi level video quality 🔥

I bought myself a Timex marlin Chronograph and was disappointed! The quality cannot be compared with Swiss...

Richard Mille.
There’s only a couple that can be tested through time. The others will break. I guarantee that …

instead of dan henry i would add timex marlin chrono with jubilee
The Marlin is a pretty ugly watch. Especially considering the gigantic numbers at 3, 9 and 12. Even a Pierre Paulin is prettier.
Y’all gotta stop making these videos for my eyes cause I’m trying to save and invest my money for retirement.
citizen +
seiko +
casio +
orient +
timex hell no
dan henry -
