    I honestly don’t think that I’ve ever had this much fun whilst recording a video! I bet it’s a sign for me to do it more - and as mentioned, several times, to keep pushing myself and prove that eating more than I think I can Is POSSIBLE. Thanks for the support, I still can’t wrap my mind around it xx

      @KatharinaSchneider02: Well, you did fail the challenge, but you still did well to come as close as you did. Failing doesn't mean you don't get something out of it; in fact, putting yourself into a challenging situation where you can fail is how you achieve some of the greatest things. When you fail more you also achieve more, because you do more. Failure is just the calibration of your perceived ability to do something with your actual ability to do something, and in the process, you challenge yourself, learn many things, and achieve many different, often pleasantly surprising, things along the way. If you need to get a B in a class, you should strive for an A (even better, a 100%) so that you don't cut any corners, and even if you don't get the A, you'll probably get at least a B. If you gear yourself towards getting a B, however, then you can get complacent and might get a C instead because you weren't pushing yourself enough.
      Similar considerations apply here: you strive for 5,000, and end up at about 4,000, but it was the motivation to hustle that probably got you to achieve 4,000, and you weren't able to take anything for granted; as a human you still have limitations, but by sedulously striving for a lofty goal, you approach your limit much more closely than you would otherwise, and that allows you to create unexpected opportunities for yourself as well as personal growth so that you can create even more opportunities next time, and get new, higher limits that include a larger range of tasks you are able to do before reaching those limits.

    I know how hard it is to do such challenges when you have that inner voice! Amazing stuff! Just remember to not compensate for it the next following days! Also, don’t get used to tracking calories as it can easily go down into a relapse! Could also reverse the starvation thoughts into binging thoughts/actions. Been there myself, and it’s something I just want to make sure won’t happen to you!

    • @kecrn4132

      @@katharinaschneiderr You did a wonderful job with it! I've been battling with social anxiety since my teens, and I know how hard and anxious it can make you, noting of course that social anxiety disorder is more severe than overall shyness. What I've learnt is that exposing yourself regularly to experiences and challenging situations, really helps in lessen your anxious levels over time. For me it'll be a never ending struggle, but I'm now thankfully on a manageable level for my life, and aren't as handicapped from it anymore.

    It's quite funny/amazing how much the body can consume when you go through that period of extreme hunger after having been malnourished for ages! Eating so much, but never feeling full. I still remember back when I went all in. I could consume a dinner, and then like 30 minutes after have a huge 150g bowl of oats (dry weight) madei into oatmeal topped with yogurt, berries and peanut butter. Probably like 800-1000 calories. Went down like it was nothing more than a "little" snack haha

      I really resonate with what you’re saying!! When I first started eating, properly, I never felt satisfied. I could keep on eating, eating and eating as if I had a bottomless pit in my stomach. However I experienced that it gets better through time as the body adjusts to actually having food and being nourished :)

    You should be very proud of yourself!
    I personally think that you were probably closer to 5,000 than you think you were. Many restaurants and food outlets have calories in the UK, and those pancakes would be more like 800-900 rather than 720 (THEY LOOK AMAZING BTW!). A normal croissant itself is 300-350, so with the filling I reckon it's probably over 400. Same with the burger, more like 700-800 rather than 550. Bubble tea has a lot more calories than you think, that cup would be like 400-500! Absolutely no hate or judgement here but everything added together was way more than you estimated!
    Good luck to your weight gain journey!

    • @kecrn4132
      @kecrn4132 ปีที่แล้ว

      Defo the bubble tea did not have that many cals! It was tiny! The cals are listed on everything here in Canada…. I don’t think the pancakes were more than the 750….. and choc croissants here only have 350-400 (I haven’t seen many at 400) so I feel like that was likely pretty accurate too! I think the fries were likely more than the 165 but otherwise I think she was pretty darn close! And, really, who knows how much of the fries she ate! Maybe the 165 was accurate!

    • @bearclaire

      Food labels are aloud to have like a 20% off range on the kcal.. So you can never trust what the packages say. As the kcal could be much higher than listed.

      I am a 100% sure that my counting is off. As mentioned, we don’t display nutritional information on all foods in Denmark hence it’s tricky to estimate 😅
      I did have a lot of fun though and I’m also convinced I was closer to 5k than it ended up being :’))

    • @katharinaschneiderr

      The one day eating 5k calories solely won’t help you gain weight. But doing the challenge will most likely open your eyes as to how much food you actually need to eat / can eat. It’ll set your mind free to I believe and in the long term be beneficial to you on your journey xx

  • @williamhenry3337
    @williamhenry3337 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's alright to do this as a one day "challenge " but your health is the most important thing. I lived on a minimum of 8,000 calories a day for 2 YEARS and I don't recommend it for any length of time. You look amazing so only do things for your health.

    I have a challenge, this is long term challenge. You Start with 2000 calorie day 1 and add 100 calorie every single day.
    Day 1 = 2000 calorie
    Day 2 = 2100 calorie
    Day 3 = 2200 calorie
    Day 4 = 2300 calorie
    Day 5 = 2400 calorie
    Day 6 = 2500 calorie and so on.
    By Day 30 you can eat 5000 calorie easily. And don't forget to weight your self Before & After. You can make 3-4 part video for this challenge.
