@@HannahsBooks Thank you for watching! I just looked at your content and it looks like we do like some of the same authors!! I will be watching your videos!!📚🤗📚
You know you can trust a book rec video when the first author mentioned is Ray Bradbury 💗 Thank you for the recommendations… added them to my lists! Curious to know if you have any favorite short stories you could recommend 💞
Hey Dawn! Great video! Totally unrelated, but I have to say your voice is so calming-I could listen to it for hours! As for the books, Dandelion Wine sounds like a really interesting choice! I’m curious to read it and explore the child’s perspective with the philosophical touch you mentioned. I wonder if the rest of the trilogy has that same summerish vibe 🤔 East of Eden-I was listening to the audiobook, but it's so brilliant that I didn't want it to end, and now I stopped because I wanted to purchase a physical copy and read it more thoroughly. As for I Who Have Never Known Men-yes! Please make a video about it. I added it to my TBR after seeing your post on Instagram; it sounds like a book I would love. To Kill a Mockingbird has been on my TBR for years 🙈 I love hearing your insights about it and the use of critical thinking by the characters-I’m intrigued! All in all, such a great list, and I love the way you put it all together. Thank you for this!
Thank you Eden! Yes, I am working on a "women in translation" video and "I who have never known men" will be one of the 2 books I discuss! Thank you for sharing your reactions to the video!!❤
@@aden4043 Poetry is all about feelings so I recommend going to a library or bookstore with a poetry section, and you can pick up a poetry book and read one or 2 poems to see if you like it. Some of my favorite poets are Emily Dickinson and Paul Verlaine. I hope you find one you like!😊
