In general, the CDI pins are the same. More pins (6) usually have two of the same pin or one wiring path. What must be determined is whether the CDI is a DC CDI or AC CDI type.
@@Hiranthaperers In general, CDI AC wiring paths are the same. The difference is that usually the pin/cable to the pulser/pickup uses two cables and one cable. It uses two cables, one cable is ground and the other is the cable from the pickup/pulser. One cable is only the cable from the pickup because the ground cable is integrated into the pickup/pulser body. So, the AC CDI is 6 pin because the pickup pin/cable uses two cables.
