Toyama | DAICHO ★★Full Body Black Ramen★★ 富山県高岡市らーめん大長

DAICHO's Toyama Black Ramen is jet black! however, the broth is not super salty at all. And it has a full body to the broth! They put in a healthy amount of black pepper, so I suggest getting extra scallions (black pepper and scallions are the traditional flavor toppings for Toyama Black Ramen). The noodles are the thick variety, so a little softer. The charsiew is thin sliced and very soft (most thin sliced are more chewy while soft charsiew are thicker). So I might not get extra charsiew with the ramen, but get the charsiew rice instead. The gyoza was ok. They serve a fruit cider for free at the beginning, supposedly to build up the appetite and help with digestion. It's a very small ramen shop, and parking is tricky, so be warned. The staff is very accommodating, however. And they were playing the LA Dodgers game versus San Francisco Giants featuring Ohtani Shohei and company. Bonus! ‪@TastyWaterOM‬ ‪@TravelWhiskers‬
