Thanks for the tour… I grew up in NorthWales and spent a huge amount of time in Liverpool plus I studied at LJMU. It’s a fantastic City and it has to be said that scousers are some of the best people you could wish to meet. I moved to Toronto in 2017 and haven’t been back to the UK since so it’s great to see the City through this tour. All the best for 2022
Very nice, i'm quite impressed with how well it's all been designed, lovely broad areas and smooth neat tiling, and all the shop fronts very accessable.
Liverpool has a beautiful blend of older cultural buildings and new modern type buildings. The best lay out of architecture in the uk. Especially the docks with “The Three Graces”

Liverpool is just different from other UK cities; the look and feel!!!!! It's more regal than Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham, Leeds, New Castle, Leicester and Coventry. Plus, less hectic and congested than London.

I used to work as a coach driver and one of the many places i'd go to is Liverpool. Its a fantastic city and would regualy drop off the passangers, park the coach up then go for a wander around. I'm a lorry driver now, I still go there sometimes but i don't have the time to park up and go for the walk around. Chester is also a fantastic place which is only 30 or 40 minets away.
I’m originally from Ireland and I have to say I couldn’t of picked a better city to live in for the last 4 years at university yes covid has ruined 2 years of the social aspect but when I first started back in 2018/2019 it was amazing!

I'm not from Liverpool but I have relatives there and I have visited the city every now and again since a young child over 70yrs ago. Even, trying to be objective, I think that Liverpool is very impressive. I love the huge amount of pedestrianisation that has taken place, and the architecture is amazing ( which is something that I wouldn't have even noticed as a lad ). It could be argued that our "modern world" started in the north of England with the rise of industrialisation in the late eighteen century. And, of course, Liverpool was once - arguably -the most important seaport in the world. The Liverpool of today is very different than the Liverpool that I knew as a lad ( or even the Liverpool that gave birth to the "beat group" boom of the 60s). Back then, Liverpool still seemed to be suffering from the legacy of the second world war. It was also a darker place ( a hundred years of dirt a grime clinging to so many of its wonderful buildings). Today Liverpool has benefitted from the huge university/college student population. It feels like a young vital city. And, again, trying to be objective, I really believe that any first time visitors to the city would be mightily impressed.
