Appreciated your work and content as always. I'm excited for the upcoming season in the NBA and the new NBA areas are awesome just from technology alone
I can't wait for Intuit Dome to be ready for next year. The Clippers will be moving there in Inglewood for the new season. I'm sure millions of fans will be excited to see this new modern stadium.
@@randycrawford6235 he's just the most forward thinking owner from an organizational stand point. He makes questionable decisions when it comes to the players he brings in and sends out, but outside of the product on the court I think he moves in a lot of correct directions.
lots of potential if a team played in the sphere. they could, like concerts, use different backgrounds such as the beach or space that the game would be played to
I mean, if the Memphis Grizzlies have played in a pyramid, why not have a Las Vegas team play in a sphere? Granted The Pyramid had too many problems but at the same time, anything is quite possible.
Id love to see at least some game played in the sphere, maby Team USA exibitions before Paris 2024?? that would be awesome and like all-star stuff, no, better!
the sphere can't be used for nba play, it's more of a concert venue, the all net arena dream is done now (no funding and renderings you showed). they're planning on building an private funded arena south of the strip
Intuit (Clippers), SoFi (Rams, Chargers), and Chase (Warriors)… Three of the newest, most expensive arenas/stadiums, all in California were privately funded.
If I had to pick 5 arenas to bulldoze and build new arenas are Target Center(Minnesota Timberwolves), Ball Arena(Denver Nuggets), Smoothie King Center( New Orleans Pelicans), Capital One Center( Washington Wizards), and Madison Square Garden( New York Knicks). I’d trash these 5 and get em nice new arenas.
What about their baseball stadium? That’s the longest regular season in sports. 81 home games. Man, the competition for Fanny’s in the seats is going to be brutal. 4 major teams & minimum $100+ per seat. Plus hotel room costs. Resort fees. Car rentals. Taxis. Food. Not to mention gambling losses. Talk about getting fleeced. 😂 PT Barnum endorsed!
Virtually all of those homes in the surrounding neighborhood are privately owned by working-class families. They're not getting priced out. They're going to cash in when they sell. If you don't like it, go 5 miles east or southeast to Compton, Lynnwood, or Watts. There is plenty of low cost housing there. It's not just Intut. Housing prices are skyrocketing all up and down the Westside.
@@danielt6689 I don’t live there. And I’m not an expert on LA housing, but I’m sure the people who want to stay’s taxes will go way up. Either way, just sad to see that be the case.
@@jimmybonez8928 That's not the case in California. Unless sold or remodeled, property tax cannot increase more than 2% per year. My mother purchased her home in the 60s for $40,000. It's now valued at $1.4 million. She pays a fraction of the property tax I pay for my home at half the value.
Unless they can put it close to Wells Fargo Arena Philly fans are not going for it. We like that. We have a sports complex that has all their sports teams in one area.
I have been in the Sphere for a show called, "Postcard from Earth." I don't think it would be good for an NBA game. It's designed for concerts and movies and for that, it is good. Also of note, most of the seats are steep. It's like you are in the cheap seats of an NBA game and that was just in the bottom level of the third row.
I don't think that Sphere could host any professional sports. If Vegas was smart, T Mobile arena would be the best option and probably the cheapest option too for the NBA team as far as rent goes.
I don't think the sphere would be a good experience. It would be interesting to see the game on that screen but a game that looks like its on a stage won't work in my opinion.
Sorry to say Clippers add winning championships is zero to none. as you looked at the history everytime they played the quarter and semifinals there star players are injured. Hopefully this time is different.
I hope these companies paid for the brick and mortar they r going to occupy! No one gives me a hand out! Think of the people the cost of one facility could feed or house. What makes mores sense: feeding people or a corporate sports team?
Why are you showing incorrect renderings for a Las Vegas Arena. The renderings you are showing are of a project that is NOT happening. No Vegas arena is under construction and years away. OVG has not released any renderings, schedule or plans for a Vegas arena.
having just been in the top level of the Sphere there is no way they could do basketball there. It's just way, way, way too high and far away from the game itself. And some crazy fan would fall down the steep stairs and probably kill themselves.
To Every one who say: Las Vegas should have a team . No look up Allstar week in Vegas online, the most dangerous allstar week in NBA history was in Vegas with 2 death and 100 crimes committed that week, players in Vegas, young rich kids with money that can only end sad, who many gambling suspention the leauge get with players betting on there own teams

I wonder if the Sphere could do a test event like a regional host for some games in March Madness to see if big-time sports would even work there.
I love the video, good editing and everything 👍 ❤
The future of basketball looks bright I'm excited

So that Vegas option is more "They're building a casino and hotel with a stadium attached" like the MGM, or Thomas & Mack, etc.

I agree on Ball arena. We need a new spot for Joker and the crew
Madison Square Garden Must remain!
Sphere wouldn’t work due to the fact the owner also owns the knicks and Madison square garden
You CANNOT use the Sphere in Las Vegas; it is too small for basketball and hockey in terms of square footage.
All Net Arena--and the attached development--is currently on hold due to financing issues.
San Jose, California
I still feel like clippers have the coolest arena out off this whole video
No sphere. Play at T-Mobile first and see how the Oak View stadium turns out.
