Liked the vid, thinking about Grindlow Knoll as my first wild camping experience, just got all of my kit together (wild camping virgin). Enjoyed watching this and the pictures.
Thanks Mark grindslow knoll is a good bet for your'e first camp not too far a walk up if you park in Edale & like wise if yo have any problems a short walk back to the car.good little spot too this one i used just down from the summit iv'e used it several times.tfw.Andy.

Cheers Jim..Those sky's & cloud movement with the sun shining through makes for some stunning filming it's great stuff.really got into doing a lot of the night photography there's something about a clear night stargazing & learning the constellations..tfw mate atb..Andy.
Another fine short film Andrew. Your fims are so evocative of the Peak District I know and love. I am a bit jealous though, you seem to have more luck with the weather than I do. The last few times I've been in the peaks I have had awful weather. Anyway, more power to your elbow and keep the vids coming. Thank-you for your time and effort.

That was a great timing, a really nice video and appreciated especially because I am currently camped on here with Grandad Kieth. He said what a nice place it looked when he watched your video and I asked him if it looked familiar?! We dropped off the front onto the plateau as it was too windy for my campsite tent. Ahh great stuff James it is a great spot up there.was quite windy last night but a fab clear sky & the moon was that bright it was casting shadows.should be clear tonite & watch out for the shooting stars i saw quite a few last night..have a gud un keep warm & give my best to grandad keith..atb..Andy.

Cheer Mark..just trying to catch up on comments & missed this one of your'e mate.No easier way than going to Edale mate & a short walk up onto the southern edge foe a camp,some great spots along there.The little quarry set back a little from crookstone knoll is a cracking little spot,looking at getting back up there my self at some point.The new bag is a low alpine 65 litre.real comfy bag & seems to swallow the gear with ease,no more strapping the tent on outside of bag lol..tfw mate atb..Andy.
Cheers mate..yes i can certainly recommend the area..the stove is a little buet & with the pre burner tube the gas burns very efficiently.yes new pack too,the vango was starting to show it's age & had bust down one of the seams so had to get a new one really.tfw mate atb..Andy.
