Last minute trip on Lake Poinsett: St. Johns river bass fishing

- Not much happend on Lake Poinsett that evening but at least I got to see how things are going out there. Got rained on a little but wasn't bad and ended up finding a few bass. Hopefully they will start moving into those canals soon!

Just started fishing Poinsett, Ive fished south lake a lot but Im closer to the st johns so I want to figure this lake out.
Nice video if you can make your videos longer like between 10-15 min so we get to see more. I really like the new hobie.

Are there any peacock bass there? I would love to catch one. Going to Florida for vacation. Orlando area.
Unfortunately no. All the peacock bass are in south florida. Miami area.

Just came off Poinsett 3/11/20 and couldn't get my 18ft stratos more than 1/4 way across lake be for hitting bottom. Shame too cause 2 weeks ago I caught a 20lb bag with a 6lb kicker out one pocket on the north west end of lake and couldnt repeat due to low water.
