One of them. 5, 7, 9, and 10 are my favourites. So hard to choose, though, and also with performers... the music is so off the scale, no one recording of any of them is sufficient, you need lots!
Absolutely love this video. The setting is informal and intimate. As if he is playing for his inner circle of friends. At the beginning you hear what sounds like a glass of bottle dropped. Liking the T-shirt and occasional flash of buttcrack: you cant get much more down-to-earth than that! It's all about the music here
Totally agree, the cul-de-sacs of 12-note boredom and minimalist modernism can't compete with Late Romanticism on steroids, to see JUST HOW FAR YOU CAN PUSH THE ENVELOPE... nobody knows
How does Trifonov play like a god with those fingernails? It's all in the mind. Also love the fact he is actually 'casting spells' at certain points, not really necessary, but it seems to work for him. Off-duty Trifonov is as good as concert buttoned version in these days when we all embrace WFH, and why not! th-cam.com/video/bEbb_k-YnOs/w-d-xo.html
Its excitement (Adrenaline, Dopamine). I know from own public rehearsals as a pianist. His old teacher Sergey Babayan told, that he was afraight that he could dry out, as Trifonov was so much emotionally involved every lesson with him. Best regards.
LOL think this is his main profession and he is certainly a total professional in terms of atmosphere, immersion, creation of moods, tone colour and touch. Although the sound is a little bit 'bathroomy'
Я очень люблю Трифонова. Но в этой записи есть один минус. Понятно что это молодежная аудитория, но майку длиннее можно было одеть? Вид сзади как раз для "голубой" аудитории😂 выступление как в "Голубой устрице"🤣
always loved this guy.. he's super. I do wish, however, he'd take a lesson from the Robonstein/Horowitz book and let his fingers do the work and sit up straight! The butt crack shots are kind of fun and hot!
Interesting that those claw NAILS did not affect his performance greatly... flat-finger technique? anyway hope he records Sonatas 5-10, think he can be one of the best. th-cam.com/video/bEbb_k-YnOs/w-d-xo.html
@@Bruceykeys true, especially in the case of this sonata which is very macabre and horrifying, overall though Scriabin describes all kinds of forces of life!
But the sounds are great. And the conception of the piece is as sound as anyone's, and performed as well as anyone's. Perhaps lacking the ultimate in light and shade, but hey he is CLEARLY off duty. th-cam.com/video/bEbb_k-YnOs/w-d-xo.html
OK, do you want to hear some more Scriabin?
Best opening to a piano recital ever. Also loving the super formal concert attire. :)
Yes, more and more. He says it so matter-of-fact as if he knows in truth the audience is just eating it up. More? You bet!
No
ALWAYS YES😃
Scriabin Sonata No. 9 Op. 68 "Black Ass"
0:49 black mass emerging from the pants
😁
“At the crack of dawn, the sun pierces through the morning clouds”
"Do you want to hear more Scriabin?" then proceeds to play one of the most well textured works for piano
Nobody I've talked to agrees with me, but I think this is Scriabin's best sonata. So spooky!

Fantastic, truly diabolical performance! I never imagined such an interpretation. Truly the Devil's mass. Brilliant!!

I don't know why it happened, but I'm glad it did
This is really what I ambition modern music to become one day. "HEYY, DO YOU WANT MORE STOCKHAUSEN????"

That boy got the devil in him
Fantastiski!!!Aija

OMG
Censored! Lol
😂😂😂да, Скрябина так и играют: с вываливающимися из штанов булками и в шапке😂😂😂
Avrei preferito applaudire Daniil al conservatorio di Milano quindici giorni fa....😢

I was listening to this amazing playing in the other room, and now coming in to see it... Why is he acting like a sped-up silent movie? Just curious.

Where and when please?
Is he also a plumber?
The piano is just his day job. Plumbing is his passion.

He’s got that plumbers crack to go with it!

pardon my typos
lol it adds some evil genius flare, perfect for the piece
He does not understand this piece. He first needs to start with trimming those nails and pulling up his pants.

I mean cool music but... What the heck did I just watch ?
the power of scriabins music
Evil music
Hmmmmmm……..😮
Evil is a pretty dumb way to describe Scriabin
@@avvocatostyleagreed but he wasn't afraid to let his music bring darker forces to life (except in case of 6th sonata aha)
6th is the best one

He looks ridiculous
Yet plays like an angel. Better than the other way around.
