At 12:00 there’s someone in chat confessing to making that heinous troll dev pipe speedrun level. I’m not sure what’s worse-if he actually did make it, or if he’s trying to take credit for it.

12:33 "See we saved... A little time" - The old record: 00:19.814, Panga's 00:19.764. 19.814 - 19.764 = 0.05 = 1/20th of a second. Since SMM2 runs at 60 fps, that means 1 frame = 1/60 seconds
1/20 = 3/60, therefore Panga saved exactly 3 frames with those jumps
Furthermore, since youtube plays back panga's videos at 60fps at resolutions of 720p and up, I can do a fairly accurate frame-by-frame analysis. At around 12:25, in the frame where the bottom of Toadette's sprite is at the same row of pixels as the ground, the leftmost pixels of her feet and hand are one pixel to the left of the rightmost pixel of the ground blocks. This may be optimal, but I think a single frame could be saved. Anyone have a hitbox chart of the SMM2 player characters?
Using P blocks and stuff like that purely for aesthetics feels the same as someone using Minecraft redstone stuff purely for building purposes
