This song reminds me of my 22, I was a poor Mexican in Vancouver, who made a living preparing shawarmas in a Lebanese restaurant, my distraction was hearing a lot of music at work all day while this song was playing again and again on radio. 12 years later I am Public Relations Manager at a University and I miss as hell that simple life, I thought that a good job would give me happiness, now I realize that having almost nothing and enjoying the little details like that song was happiness.
Honestly, this is one of the songs that helped me when I was really down. When I felt depressed, I would just sing this softly, wishing to feel better and to keep believing. Thanks Hedley!

The vibrant, uplifting songs, that make you feel good. They make you happy, they bring some sunshine into your life. It's songs like these that genuinely save me from absolute shit :')

There was, however, after years of cold and rain in my head a couple minutes of just lying there, uncorrupted, unhinged and thoroughly immersed; quite sincerely believing that perhaps it wasn't too late to start again. Perhaps I didn't need to, because whatever it is that got me from the nervous and shivering boy listening to Hedley like it was a wish list to lying tits up on a warm summer afternoon without any reservations, probably isn't through with me yet. it's so important to have something in your day that you can smile about, i know what it's like to have such a depressing outlook on life cuz everything sucks in your life, so to find one thing to smile about at least once a day is really important (Find a way to smile and NEVR let it get away) and also try to make other ppl who are having a bad day smile, you don't know how much it helps.
