My favorite topic! :D I do want to make a disclaimer and say at the beginning when I'm talking about the VQ engine burning oil, not all VQ's burn a lot of oil...Some burn very little and some burn a good amount. The goal is just to see if the owner is educated on the possible oil issue :)

Australian here - going interstate to inspect an 07 350Z. Only has 45000km (!!!!) and a single owner, 100% stock, ugh I hope everything is alright with it cause I’ve wanted a 350Z since I was 7 years old

I just bought my 2005 350z. 68,000 miles, fully refurbished interior and a new paint job. fully stock apart from a after market stereo. going on a long drive to pick it up tomorrow!

Nice review Johnny. A little tip, ... speak slowly. I'm from Italy, I worked 5 years in Rochester MN and so I understand almost anything, but I guess many people with a scholastic english may have problems. However good job, the wish to own a 350 Z is increasing :-)

There's a 2007 at 112k miles, looks clean with some modifications... asking price is 10, so far no issues known. Is that a fair price?
Friend of mine picked up an 08 white 350z manual for 12k . I think that fair price . I’d try to bring them down more to like 8-9k only cause I like to haggle
I got a 06 for 10k in great condition, so if your getting the better engine I'm sure it's a pretty fair deal
the main problem about 350z are just TAXES :( ownership tax and buying tax are around 3000 euros for both
No body in my country changes oil much more than once a year.
I found a 2006 350z Touring Roadster with 38,000 miles for $11,000 it’s owned by an older lady and she offered it to me for $9,000 she lives at the beach and the car has been kept outside for the past 5 years, do you know if the salty air could effect the engine or anything under the car?

I'm literally in that situation, got a NB with "low mileage" for 6 years, but just found a 350z with the VQ35DE in great condition, did you bought it ? Is it better for the price ?
Hey Johnny so I’m getting my z soon but the one I’m looking at is a rebuilt title so I j want to run it by you and see what you think. It’s a rebuilt title which th 100k miles in it. Guy says it has a perfect condition engine and it starts up very quick. It has a few after market mods but mainly j wheels and sum suspension. The guy says the car isn’t starting to grind a lil when it goes to 3rd gear which means the synchro is a lil worn so I’ll have to get a new transmission for it. But I can afford that and after doing that it seems like it would be brand new. What’s advice could you give?
I bought a 350z for $4500 with 175k miles. Oil Changed every 5-7k miles worth the purchase?
Thats what i paid for my 03 unfortunately its started overheating couple of months after i bought it had to put another 1k into it but still a great deal they are usually 6k+ on my area
