In depth content
Got a 06 DE with 130k miles on it, goes through oil fast but pretty reliable, had to change battery/brakes/rotors/headlight bulbs but still runs strong. For 4k, I feel it was worth it. Came with upgraded exhaust and sounds like a beast loud as hell. Corners like a 4 wheel drive and suspension is old but stiff and stays on the road even on worst road conditions. gonna have to change suspension soon, making creaky sounds ever since I bought it. Other than that running great!
O6 rev up for 4K is a steal

I bough my z last year at 17 and im NEVER selling it, its been my dream car forever . It doesnt have ac and has its little problwms but would i commit this financial mistake again??

wanting one cause its on the cheaper side of coupes but my fear of driving is insane haha, would you recommend this as a first car for someone with a huge fear of driving? i definitely dont plan on being a fast driver, but that fact at the end isnt very fun sitting in my head
why would you get a sports car when you don’t want to be on the road in the first place? Obviously get something more beginner/user friendly.
I was going to get an MR-2, RX7, or Celica, but my mom said it would be better to get something newer that needs abit less maintenance and isn't as beat up. I'm likely getting one soon and getting a replica nismo front bumper and a nice wing

@Giovanni Trujillo get an oil catch can, it can help with the oil consumption problem, I have an 08 Z; thankfully they don’t have that issue
Check for any engine leaks, and add an oil catch can.

Definitely a no, at least in the UK. Insurance is one of an issue, but primarily the road tax. £630 annually is a killer for a first car. Unless you are financially capable.

That's a tough question! My brother has a 2020 civic si and likes it a lot. We actually raced for a video on this channel once, it was pretty close! I love the 350z's screaming V6 tbh, so that would probably be my choice! I appreciate your comment my friend.

Hey! 2.6k is a great start, and I say do what will make you happy bro! Good condition 350z's are only going up in value, so buying one (as long as you keep it safe) is like a savings account. If needed, you could ALWAYS sell it for the money back or more. That's how I convinced the people around me at least haha! Insurance might be a bit high at first, but will go down as you get older and keep your record clean! You got this brotha! Let me know if you have any other questions!

I think you should get it. For me its the g35 that I've wanted since middle school. I have enough for one now but Manuals are hard to find, and Im technically not in the market for one ATM, but still saving for it. I would love to on and I perhaps would rather own the 350z over the g35 but the g35 is perfect for me because I can ride with more than 1 friend in the car. Also I am often used as a chauffeur by my sister.. Not only that but she brings her friends along too so not having back seats for a first car seems inconvenient to me.
Anyways I think if you really really want the car, and your parents support it, and if you find a good deal I encourage you to buy your dream car. Don't let your friends tell you not to get it because, YOU want it, and YOU'LL be happy with it.

i found one for 10k with 160,000kms on it. its auto and they just had to change their alternator too..do you think its worth buying? its a 2003 model.
I'd try to talk them down to 8000 if possible I just bought a 06 350z with 140k no prior issues for $6500

@@wizardkingasta1835 so far the car has been very reliable and it’s got like 155k miles on it and it still runs stronger than ever I haven’t run into any issues except burning a quart of oil like every 500 miles. If U get one u won’t regret it but don’t be an idiot
