I think it goes without saying Mike lost his way and direction when Cus died, and who could really blame him, they were like Father and son and when you lose your Dad at a young you never really recover, but Mike has come through all the difficulties very well, and is a great example for many, I think Cus would be pretty proud of Mike today

If Cus was 30 years younger when Mike came along and hadn't died, and if Mike kept Kevin Rooney as his trainer, there's a good chance he could have retired undefeated. Even so, he still has an excellent record and will go down in history as one of the greatest heavyweights of all time and he's come through all of his troubles as a decent and well-adjusted guy.

You really couldn't make his story up. It's an Epic,Tragic love story which we witnessed right in front of our eyes. I have experienced alcohol Abuse and Depression and used to fight and all i can say is Take good care champ, 1 day at a time
