Wow jeez what an insanely satisfying rigged run as Tainted Isaac, Polyphemus, Brimstone, Cricket's Head, Ipecac, Infestation 2, Magic Mushroom, Cricket's Body, Almond Milk, Glitched Crown, Inner Eye, Host Hat, Parasite. Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was great, Afterbirth was cool Afterbirth+ was like, eh, it's okay, and then Repentance came and was like BAM this is the best DLC EVER. The best mods like Q4 Isaac dance and banger songs like Innocence Glitched and Machine in the walls (my personal favorite) BIG C Section Brimstone Tech X fetuses' with ghost pepper synergies have so much potential. Add Soy Milk and Rock Bottom for a free win. Those items would be so OP together. The greatest synergy of all time. First floor is Ultra Hard, boss rush can be hard to get to. Good thing mom's knife didn't show up because that wouldn't have been fun. Even though I would of liked that item. I also like, Death Certificate, Damocles, Crickets Head, Rock bottom, Magic Mushroom and Godhead. Psy Fly, Revelation, Twisted Pair, D6 or Spindown Dice would be a cool synergy to have. Edmund Mcmillen created Super Meat Boy and I think he is a angel room enjoyer. Though Devil rooms can be Isaac Pog too, sometimes its a missed rare opportunity 0.1%. Sometimes when I get C section or Glitched Crown I laugh at my free win. Polyphemus Crickets Body Proptosis soy milk Sacred Heart + Holy Light and +10 Luck from perfection is my favorite combo. Need me some Lavencas Luck. When I get dead eye incubus R key Red key mega mush spirit sword and brimstone with ipecac it feels like a won run especially with monstros lung and tech X. I love playing the lost and tainted lost, and rerolling is always fun. I also love planetarium items. The Binding of Isaac Repentance is a pretty hard game but I enjoy it, I remember How to unlock the Lost, and it sucks because its RNG. Fighting Hush Delirium Mega Satan The Beast and Mother are all fun. I love synergies and bad items. This is 1,000,000% swear on dead gods name that this description isn't only for keywords. Neat thing with the library treasure pool there, idk if it's all books but at least with book of virtues it won't leave the item pool until you pick it up. I say it's better to pick it up right away since it won't reroll into anything else.
That's just how the library item pool works. If you don't pick up the item it doesn't get removed, works for other books as well
@@dokchampa9324 not sure bout that, whenever he spams rerolls books show up only once and after few rerolls their pool gets exhausted
@@marrassek That's because he picks them up, either on or off camera. Picking up a book removes it from the pool

Part of me wishes the brim synergy was like a mix of chocolate milk and soy milk: you can just hold the button to constantly shoot brim, but if you wait it'll charge up a chocolate brim shot

Neptunus Choco is pretty stupid good if you think about it that not only you Auto Charge Choco, you also shoot MORE Fully Charged Choco consistently
Choco Brim is also pretty damn good Synergy where the damage multiplier just skyrocketted, especially with Tech(Not Tech X tho, it ruins the Choco Brim)

Hey Matt, I've seen you pick up dead eye with brimstone a lot so I just wanna let you know that picking up dead eye *after* brimstone has no effect.
By the wiki:
Brimstone, Dr. Fetus, Epic Fetus, Mom's Knife, and Technology all have the interaction "The damage multiplier that was gained before picking up this item will now be a permanent damage up." So picking up dead eye after any of those items has no effect.
For some reason saving and quitting with Tech specifically removes the damage multiplier, but that is not the case for any of the other items.

Tears past the constant brim beam cap actually transformed into more dmg and a bigger beam. It makes sense since you are actually just forcing out more brim

The thing that makes neptunus way better than just "some extra damage at the start of a room" is that if you tap shoot you can keep up the very high dps

i must point out a flaw in matt’s judgement, according to my opinion.
the brimstone + neptunus synergy appeared to decrease the charge time of brimstone immensely, and so sou milk was not needed. it simply neutered his damage with little other effect.
again, my opinion, if you disagree ignore me.
The sheer glee when you beat Mega Satan was fantastic, I don't blame you for not fighting Delirium either it's an achievement in itself that you got as much done as you did with that build

Getting tears up with Soy + Brim is good. The damage is calculated by damage x tears / 5 per tick.

This is the only place I can vent about this: the May the 4th seed killed me :(. I had magic skin + d6 and I was going crazy in the secret room. Eventually had 8 broken hearts and a couple soul hearts. Picked up greed’s gullet with 200 coins and died :((((((( Society doesn’t want to see a happy me
The reason it stayed on book of virtues is because actives only go out of the pool if you pick it up so book of virtues just randomly rolled in that pedestal as the only library item

Looks like the reason you were shooting behind you at 9:31 was because using Lemegeton gave you mom’s eye, but right before you mentioned it it was destroyed by the backwards ipecac shot

What do you mean soymilk ludo does less damage? Its tickrate is based off of your tears just as its damage is, meaning it does 3.5 damage 2.73 times a second with base Isaac stats, so soymilk would just be more dps due to firing 5.5 times faster.

So there is always very small chance that when you roll item it will give you that item again

There's another workshop creator by the name of JamesB456 that makes a lot of mods similar to these. Notably, he has one for Mom's Knife, Spirit Sword, and both Epic and Dr. Fetus.
