It's a very nice demo, thanks for sharing..however, being not familiar with the Eurorack modules...and therefore with the Magneto..At 2:25...you did sampled a Gong....how did you record this sound..It seems that you've done it with an external microphone....Thta's very interesting since I do have a lot of percussions I could sample..Thanks for your patience if my question looks stupid and for your reply best regards from Italy..
Thank you for the kind words - and for the question 😺. Yes, you will need an external mic and then route it to the input of the Magneto. There are Eurorack modules that take microphone input that you can then patch into the Magneto, or you can use a regular mic preamp, and convert the line out into Eurorack 5-volt signals with a module.
@@CatSynthTV Thanks a lot, since I do have several preamps...could you be so kind as to tell me what is the "name" type of the module that can do it...Thanks a lot best regards
Question: How did you get the NORD to loop continuously? I have my REPEATS and WET knobs set all the way up but my signal tapers off and weakens after a few repeats. Was this also gate triggered? Thanks!
I trigger the "Play" to get the loop started. (or to restart it), but other than that it was finding the right combo of repeat and record levels, I think. The record level turns out to make a YUGE difference in terms of repeats in all modes.
It rerecords over the loop over and over. So if you don't keep recording it starts to fade. If you want a single loop to play non-stop then trigger the repeat button (the infinity symbol) and it will stop recording and keep looping.
@@CatSynthTV Sorry for non being a native English speaker and I've just got mine from 3 days and it's my first times using such device...heavy on my shoulders..I do face the same issue than King Shaman...So my question is : what do you mean by trigger the "Play" I do have a Mellotron Micro and a stage Roland Piano and my actual setup is Mellotron out=> Left in Magneto, left out Magneto => in to my audio interface => Logic Pro X. I guess that "your" left in -Left Out is similar to my setup..but where is going or coming from that pink patch cable... Sorry, I'm a newbie...
