    I watch a lot of demo vids and you make some of the best. This one in particular. Your way of explaining things works for me. Thank you for your time and energy. Also like your chordal sense ... keep it up man, great stuff.

    Absolutely unreal how long I've had the timeline, but haven't experienced everything the looper offers. Thank you! I just ordered the multi switch to get even more help. For some reason I never got along with the ditto looper, cuz I can never remember how many times I need to press it to do what modes.. my mind can only do one thing at once! Also, looper exit changed my world..thanks again. Great playing too :)

    I’ve been sitting on the fence for a while if to own one of these.
    I love it versatility and sounds😊
    It’s mainly the ease of use that puts me off.
    I’m still in beginner guitar territory but been learning advance lead work
    Keep up the tutorials

    That's pretty cool. I haven't explored the looper functionality on my Timeline yet, but can see how creating a loop of a piece I want to play for, let's say, a worship tune, I can then figit with the settings while it's looping to get the sound I'm looking for versus playing, then adjusting, then playing, then adjusting. Nice. Thanks.

    Nice device! Previously I used a delay plugin to loop. But, I didn't know there's a delay pedal with a looper inside! And you know I got an idea, I think that would be nice to record a loop (pre-delay mode) and then modify the knobs to create a nice ambient.

    Is it 30 seconds total? Or each overdub can be up to 30 seconds? Like if I did a ten second empty loop, does that mean my overdub only has 20 seconds?

    • @AntoineMichaudGuitar
      @AntoineMichaudGuitar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      30 seconds total for each layer. You could have a first loop of 30 seconds and then unlimited overdubs of 30 sec each.

    If you record a loop with the looper post delay, and then afterwards change it to pre delay, will the original recorded delays from the loop get sent through the delay effect again?

  • @seandavidharris
    @seandavidharris 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Have you found a good solution to use this looper live? It’s so powerful but it stops so suddenly when turned off. No decay or fade out makes it tough to use practically for me. Would love to use it without needing my boomerang also

    • @bdj562
      @bdj562 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you put it predelay, the delay will decay when you stop the loop. I guess that’s a little better

  • @dawidzarnowski5248

    Hey! I have a blue sky and timeline. Let's say i do a Quick loop on some chord progression with for example huge decay on my blue sky. Then i click exit and the loop is still playing. Thats cool but when i try to decrease my decay on strymon, or i want to change Mode for shimmer or anything else to play only a melody .. The reverb recorded on the loop is also changing :/ how can i fix it :(

  • @scottstobbe

    Would you recommend the Time Line over the Boomerang 3? The Time Line to me seems a bit more confusing to use.

    • @AntoineMichaudGuitar
      @AntoineMichaudGuitar  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I recommend the Boomerang III all the way. The Timeline has a great looper, but it's little bit less high quality than the Boomerang, and it only has one channel compared to 4 on the Boomerang... minus all the looping effects and different play styles... The Timeline is great to mess with pre or post delays and make simple loops, but the Boomerang is way more complete for all your looping needs!

    • @mlj654
      @mlj654 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The timeline is a delay with looping capabilities, not a device specializing in looping. What looping it does, it does very well, but there's more to it, if you have the imagination to to try to come up with it. It's not meant to deliver instant no-brainer gratification. Most of us, (me too) want something with instant gratification. And those that bitc@ about the price should buy a dd7 from boss. Not that there's anything wrong with those, they are just far simpler, and won't do what the Timeline will, which won't do what some others will, and so on.... Keep it real :-)

    • @mlj654
      @mlj654 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The boomerang is a better Looper, the timeline is much more versatile soundwise

    This pedal is so god dam cool, considering its age it's still one of the best delays. Suppose if it ain't broke don't fix it

  • @lancecamposano3633
    @lancecamposano3633 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello! Just a question
    Is possible to use the looper of the timeline alone? ( without the delay effect )
    Because i'm planning to loop distorted rhythm section only
    Is that possible for the timeline?
    Because i'm planning to buy one as well
    Thank you for answering this :)
