This is where a little variance in the type of deployable soldier would be appreciated. Some HMG & Mortar units for the modern soldiers would’ve made this much more competitive, not to mention a handful of tanks with the reinforcements.
Definitely should’ve had armored units in the reinforcements with mortar and more artillery and some 50 cals at the fort

im salty seeing how the mods actually work for you they dont work for me i reinstalled my game twice resubbed on the mods and they still dont work how did you make the mods work for you?
"Modern" would have machine gun nests with ballistic glass on the top. They would have closed the wall openings with sand bags for tripping enemy. No one would be just outside without cover. In the middle would be mortars. About 5 miles away would be artillery batallions.
And in real life with 3 million people charging with no sense of self preservation, they'd still lose.
I love how the initial fight. Just absolutely wipes the insurgence with barely any casualties
Yeah I think that's kinda why they fight by hiding in Caves and disrupting the Local garrisons and not out in an Open Field.

haven't watched the vid yet, but locking so many of your forces inside the walls is really going to blunt their efforts to help. put everyone on a clear field and you'll have each character participating 100% of the time...instead of 15% of the time.

Daley, what made you think the modern U.S. soldiers could kill all the modern insurgents. They were so badly outnumbered and most the time you have someone defend againt millions of enemies, they don't win

There is a channel that did that exact battle. Had some 7 million Tyranids, 500 space Marines. A few hundred thousand Krieg and a few hundred thousand guardsmen. They fared VERY well. Still lost but very well none the less.

I think this scenario played out in real life Syria Russia, with our special forces, end up taking out 250 without no casualties with our maybe 20 or 50 getting over how many there was but I was a low number of special forces against huge forces. They used air support and artillery 😂

Why would the soldiers be any more effective than the insurgents? Also, how can anyone not be at the front of a fire without killing the people in front? And why does so much fire travel over the heads of the enemy?
