I wouldn’t ever worry about getting into editing, Rob. One of the attractions of your channel is that your posts are very natural, just you switching on the camera and talking in an engaging, self effacing, friendly way. Keep on going!

Hi Rob, excellent response. I too miss Rob of Sounds Strange - learnt so much about modern classical music from his channel and was looking forward to learning more. I really wish he'd left his videos up at least, they're ones I'd definitely go back to watch. All the very best... Pete

Really enjoyed this video, Rob. Yes, our answers were pretty similar. You make an excellent point about presenters. It is better when they are genuine instead putting on a show or playing a character. It seems like some try too hard. Again, appreciated your honest responses.

Hi Rob, I think the important thing about making VC videos is be yourself. Show the music you like ramble on a bit about it and people will respond positively. I always enjoy your content, cheers Mike

Us one-take masters need to stick together Rob. Agree on preferring it when people are authentic and not putting on a false veneer. Agree with most of these Rob. Enjoy your holiday. Cheers Dale

Hi Rob - a very interesting response. Lots of good points ! I don't think any Video Maker would buy subscribers - although I do wonder if people like Mazzy ever get FREE records because of their subscriber count. I feel that I have missed out because I never watched a "Sounds Strange" video. Cheers Bill

I would wager Mazzy gets plenty of freebies stateside.
Rob at Sounds Strange was an amazing guy, just so knowledgeable, I loved his channel and miss him terribly.
      Thanks again for watching Bill.

Nice one Rob. Vinyl finds videos people like so if I stray too far off that script I get really low viewer figures not that it matters generally just disappointing because it can be alot of effort.

I don't really care about the subscriptions count, it's interesting though when I upload a video of me playing one of my own songs, suddenly people start unsubbing..I think you're right though, people like familiarity ( ie the finds) and don't always like being taken out of their comfort zone.

@@robison5396 subs seem to be irrelevant and can just be mutual support I guess. I don't sub to so many because I feel the pressure I have to watch them then, otherwise VC channels / videos come onto my feed automatically or nicer to hear about from word of mouth.
