    I saw a meditation in which monks sat meditating as a lawnmower buzzed around them. That was a huge moment for me. I decided to learn to meditate anywhere, any time and place. It works perfectly. We have planes flying over our house all the time. They used to bother me. Now I take them as an excuse to meditate. I pretend that their ferocious roar is a wave washing over my mind, cleansing it. So now I literally welcome them, and particularly enjoy it when a whole line of them are coming into my local runway…at the nearby airport AND my mind.

    Thank you! Meditation has helped me tremendously! It's given me the courage to accept myself for who I truly am!! Accepting my flaws and realizing that God has made me this way, and God doesn't make mistakes. Meditation helped me to feel better, and I continue to practice meditation bc it makes me feel great!!❤❤

      @@MarjSpiritdoveid argue that is what He intended. Think about it, if we know with concrete evidence there is an omnipotent being that created us and is watching our every move, we would all worship Him. But the thing is that He made us with the power to choose. We can choose to follow His will guided with nothing but faith, or choose not to believe in him and receive little to no guidance. But in my opinion, it’s cathartic and reassuring that there is someone who created me believing that I can follow His Will, and being there every step of the way. That’s why I follow Him. But that’s just my point of view. Like I said, the choice is up to you.

    I was stuck in traffic outside Philly after I-95 collapsed. At first, I was understandably annoyed. But then, I used it as an opportunity to meditate on how I reacted to something I couldn't control 0 the collapse of a highway!! (no one was hurt). After all, it wasn't like I could go anywhere! And it helped!!!

    Meditation it’s so wonderful thing to invest our mind, our time. The Buddha’s said if you do meditation daily and then what your wish it will comes through and I’m telling you as I been meditating for over 10 years my life has been changed from nothing to own a business ❤❤❤ miracle has happened at all time, if your already a kind person it will make you even naturally more kindness and also the husband being kind and even better rather his job incomes also his more kind personality to me and our children. I also made my kids meditate with me since they were 3 years old and I am telling the world that my kids are super wonderful either kindly loving caring and super smart in all ways of nature! I am so proud what I am start meditating with my kids so early with their younger age. I bet anyone to try you will be seeing wonderful results as I do with my family. May God and Angles bless and protect every single one of you and the rest of human and animal on earth. ❤❤❤❤

    Idk if meditation is supposed to be used this way. But. I have really bad sleeping problems. I decided to start meditating before i sleep. Usually a 10 minute meditation. Im finding that i am falling asleep at a faster rate. It used to take me over an hour to finally fall asleep. But now. About 30 minutes to fall asleep. I am so happy ❤🧘‍♀️

    The first time I heard this man speak was almost 10 years ago. I was tripping on mushrooms and it counts as one of the best evenings in my life. Thank you God for this man. I would love to meet him in person. My life was changed that night, And!- he has a book! I hope there is an audio version and he reads it. He has a wonderful speech cadence, it is akin to a unique form of music somehow. I wish he could see my comment. I do love the guy, he might've saved my life, at minimum he increased the quality profoundly - and I am still a Christian. Although work is required to improve upon the quality of that last claim, I have good hope and will continue to be kind as I am able within each moment. May this man be blessed fully to the glory of our Divine Creator.

    I often try to meditate from my balcony, but right next door is a kindergarten. I can tell you in the beginning I found it very hard to stay focused on my meditation when the kids were set loose on the play ground 😂 nowadays the kids don't distract me as much anymore. Sometimes I don't even notice them for a short while. But that only happens when I go into meditation with a task or a question.

      maybe could think their voices are Buddhas voices, they are very near to a Bodhisattva i think, yes they bring their own karma, but still pure in this lifetime perceptual still not tainted again by greed of money, lust etc 🙏

    Focus on something. Did you finally notice that your mind wandered after a while, but you were unaware that it had at first. Good, re focus on your thing. Set a timer and repeat this process over and over until the timer goes off. You know how to meditate now.

    My gf keeps telling me that you cannot walk meditate unless you’ve mastered sitting meditation. She keeps insisting I don’t know how to properly meditate since I do walking meditation rather than sitting meditation

      I can't tell you for sure, but I interpret it as mindfulness, since he says that it's not about meditating on a specific thing or achieving any specific state of mind. When he says it's about discovering yourself, I think he just means that you've observed your own mind and gained wisdom from that.

    Good instruction. Thank you. I had a feeling meditation changed us. That it moved us away from our normal practices. All is with us already?
    Perhaps I need to live in a different surrounding. No problem.
    I suppose this life is being used (at this place and time) to prove that peace and understanding do not arrive from a god or a christ. 😊
