You really put a lot of effort into testing all these shoes. Keep them coming! If you have any insights on the best ultra-distance shoe (80-160k) in the future-maybe early next year-I’d be very interested. I have two pairs to test now, but due to an injury, I can't run at the moment (Adidas Agravic Speed Ultra and Nike Wildhorse 8).
Thanks! Sorry to hear about the injury! Hope it doesn' t keep you out for too long...? Now, the Ultramarathon question is tricky for me to answer, because I've never done an Ultra before. But between those two just as a Race Shoe I would go Adidas Speed Ultra 100% if the course isn't too technical. You know, I wasn't super positive on the Nike Zegama 2 either but I found it a direct upgrade to the Wildhorse: Just as stable but more cushion, bounce and quite a bit lighter. If not looking for all-out speed, it's honestly a great option.
I was kind of hating on the Wildhorse 8 a bit in my videos but have to say it is one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. It also had a really nicely wide toebox so should hold up great over a long distance!@@didiervanrompaey
@@robin29991 Comfort wise it is very good. But I don't know if it is good for running. I mean, is it good for my ancles, knees, joints and tendons. That is a thing where I am very sensitive and have to find out by running and experience... It also looks very good I think. I have the white/light green'ish ones.
Try the Nnormal Tomir 2.0 or the new Inov8 Trailfly for ultras. First one should fit Salomon style footshape lovers, latter rather wider fit / comfy sizing.
@@putputputputput1036 I actually had the Tomir 2.0 but had to give it away as it was a test shoe. Funnily found it quite a wide toebox, unlike most Salomons haha. Wish I still had it - great shoe! Never had an Inov8 shoe but heard great things...

@@robin29991 You will over time ;-) I think it just needs to be comfortable. Weight, speed, plate,... all doesn't matter I think.
