    Thank you for the shout out! Amazing unboxing video! The details about the fit and differences were very helpful. I'm looking forward to the full review.
    I fit comfy in a 11.5 hovr phantom. Do i need to size up for sonic5s?
    Thanks again for this vid! Keep up the great work!

      Thank you!!
      To answer your question, so far, yes. Up the size to a 12 for these shoes. The fit is way more secured on the feet than the previous models so sizing up wont feel that loose. Give that size a try. If possible, get the 11.5s too. We all have different feet, bone structure, etc. so better safe than sorry. Under Armour is really good with returns too.
      By the way, I had the video made on Friday, but man, that was trash lol. I just had to do a better job so it took a little longer to remake than originally planned. And, it paid off. So, your feedback and support goes a long way.

      Hey thank you for watching and supporting this channel. Yes, im slowly making progress with my foot/ankle.
      I don't do reviews on anything I personally don't use. If it's some something sent to me by the company and I like it (as in for myself) i'll review it.
      I will be reviewing these shoes soon though. Just had a lot going on.

      Hey, thank you.
      I've been wanting to make the review but had surgery shortly on my ankle after and can't run still.
      I could talk about how it feels and how it performs while walking since I have done that, but running is not possible. A video on this topic will be out soon, too.
      Thank you for watching and for the support.

    Same thing happened to me! I have the sonic 4s and just got the 5s in today! Felt more snug around the toe box so I measured them and they are more narrow than the 4s. Might go up half a size because of this.

      I do think these shoes are an improvement. They are comfortable and durable but I also think they could do better.
      Might make a review on these since I still wear them. I would encourage you to put them to the test. UA is great with returns. Test them and see if its worth it.

    I had the sonic5 for about a 2 week just dropped them of to FedEx . The comfort just wasn't there for me. narrow in the mid foot hopeful they fit you . It nice you have both the sonic 4 and 5 I was really curious about the 4 when I had the 5 . The sonic 2 best

      The 2s were great! I agree, mid foot does feel snug, man. Too soon to tell though. Gotta break the 12.5s in to see how it feels.

    Ok. About to watch after reading all the horrible machina 3 reviews.. I love UA and just wish they didn't make the HOVR so clunky. I do like the veloci wind. I think their velociti may be the way of future?
    For these I had the first model and doing agility drills were a disaster. Ankle breakers. Did these fix that at all over time. ?

    • @GabeCuello

      Hi James, thanks for commenting and watching the video.
      Unfortunately, I cant speak on the Sonic 1 vs Sonic 5s effectively since I dont have the shoes for comparison.
      In terms of my memory, these new ones are way better or at least feel that way in the "roll over" department.
      I have yet to compile my thoughts for a review on these shoes yet (currently traveling) but they are doing well so far.

  • @jeremy_3
    @jeremy_3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have dedicated running shoes that I use for my longer runs, but I like everything about these shoes so far, I think my main use case would be using them as an all around shoe for things like HIIT workouts, short runs, basketball, Pickleball, volleyball, lifting, and sometimes just a casual shoe. I want something with cushion, but not so cushy that I don’t have a strong solid base when doing things like squats or making a sudden direction change on a court, do you think this could handle those situations well or is it mainly just a running shoe?

    • @GabeCuello
      @GabeCuello  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Jeremy,
      From my experiences and build (5.11/190lbs) these shoes will deliver all that you desire. * However, it will depend on your level of intensity. Not something i'd recommend for heavy lifts (exceeding the potential of the shoe and its structure may cause more instability) like squats or deadlifts, and full court/real basketball or any sport that requires intense agility.* These shoes have a tendency to roll over laterally due the nature of purpose (running).
      I did a recent hike (Koko Head Trail) with these and they performed well. From running to hiking, so far i'm enjoying them. Thanks for commenting and watching by the way.

    hello my friend what is the size of feet and the size of the shoes sonic 5?

    • @GabeCuello
      @GabeCuello  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're asking about how it fits, I'd say its meant for narrow feet. Its also quite snug.
      I never worn a size 12.5 but have to with these shoes. I hope that helps. Feel free to reach back if you have any other questions.

    • @GabeCuello

    Do you think I should buy these instead of sonic 4? I'm flat feet and my ankle is a little pronated

    • @GabeCuello
      @GabeCuello  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I honestly think it's an 'ok' upgrade.
      If you can afford it, try them. If you're on a budget or would rather wait for the next version (Sonic 6) I would do that.
      I've been backed up on making the video review for these shoes but all in all, its nothing spectacular. Still narrow and somewhat heavy.
      As for your current foot positioning, my suggestion is to train your feet and ankles. Might do a video on this in the near future since my injury (ankle) has changed my life.
      Hope this helps.

      Yes sir. I have tried a couple of my own and they fit "ok". As in you may need to tie the shoes tighter to ensure an all around fit.
