I bought a pair these a while ago and after 852k steps, I can say it’s a shoe that I really like, yea I get people aren’t to happy with them but I really like them.
I've just passed 600k in the first version and it's honestly the worst running shoe I own (I've only got it this far because it cost so much I want to make sure I get my money's worth before giving myself the pleasure of throwing it away). I was so excited to get it but it was so disappointing. It's just so firm, if you're not having a good day and your form's not absolutely perfect it, just feels like you're running on wooden planks. It's heavy, the outsole lacks grip, the upper is a sponge, and the ride is just so clunky. I remember watching your review for that first version and it wasn't very positive but I ignored it. Now I have to say you were absolutely right. The 2 looked basically the same and if the 3 only has small tweaks then I really don't know what UA are thinking.
I have the Machina 2 and they are just a standard pair of trainers, think they would be best for people walking about to be honest or just a bit of a jog now and then, I would not use these for any running event so expect the trainers you are reviewing would be much the same
A shoe that is heavy, overpriced and not so good for any purpose other than maybe going to the gym or leisure walks. Why should people bother when there's plenty of good running shoes everywhere ? I appreciate your review; it's nice to know when good is fine and mediocre is crap.
that weight itself puts UA to shame. i mean come on 300g is horrible..i had qualms about zoom fly 4 weight and that was released a year ago and UA machina 3 is heavier than zoom fly 4?

This is seriously one of the best shoe reviews I’ve read. Love the brutal honesty!
weighted running?
The UA Flow shoes are great, though.
Would you buy the Under Armour hovr machina 3 breeze of the Saucony guide 16 for half and full marathons? What's your recommendation?
I love under armour for their clothing, just wish their shoes were as good.

Under armour needs to step up with better running shoes.
