haha.. you're such a LEGEND!! i LOVE THIS.... that needs to go on my insta bio, haha!!! awww MASSIVE THANK YOU and hope training is going well bromethius
What a legend. Does this guy ever stop smiling. Even on deaths door after the last world's longest swim you were full of smiles and laughter. True inspiration.
yup I understand that perfectly. People ask why I don't want to join the gym with them but I feel like if I did I'd get kicked out for the weird things I do during the workout XD Good luck and good workouts, you always give motivation and good energy during your videos to everyone it's amazing
Reminding you to do another two of those single arm hang scapular pull ups before you end up swimming in circles... my OCD kicked in as well 😄. Can't wait for more content and inspiration, Rosseidon!
Absolutely bang on point with having your own "pain cave" 💯 Only have limited items but key things like TRX, bands and kettle bells is more than enough 💪 Keep the great content coming and look forward to following your journey 🙌
Really glad to hear you say you can have too many ice baths. We have talked about that on our podcast and some studies and how the inflammatory response is a good thing. Same things with taking too many NSAIDS or allergy meds.
Ross, I congratulate you on your fantastic achievements, and inspirational to say the least. Have you any videos of your catch, pull and push? And the difference between we tween your pool and open water technique? And a big question from me also is tackling afterdrop. While you work on generating heat before getting clothed, we're the opposite. Clothed, excerise then warm sustenance. Sorry for the long list of questions 😢 And I love your gym 👍 Mine is small dumbbells by the couch, a bar in the utility room, and a walking machine in the shed, somewhere near the lawnmower 👍 Oh, the plunge pool is filled now for the winter because the closest river has quite a current with all the rain. Thank you Ross and thank you also for spreading a wonderful positive energy. Much appreciated in more ways than one and by a lot more than one 🙏
Were you never told as a kid, "You need to put your toys away after you have played with them"🤣. Great insight, keep up with the content and I'm sure you got this one.
Looking forwards to the event, hoping for a non-wetsuit swim as the rhino neck freaked me out a bit. I’d love to see swim strength exercises. I’ve been playing with flared elbow pullover for that high elbow catch-strength. Will try the scapular presses and hog the squat rack for it!
I really want to research if ice baths are better for muscular growth when used before or after the gym. I’m so interested in the use of saunas and ice baths with athletic performance.
It looks like you need one more thing for the world’s longest swim gym. Perhaps a Vitruvian Trainer+ that measures 117 x 52 x 12 cm? Real time force/power output so you can monitor your adaptation energy. I will ship one out at no cost. Lmk
You HAVE to do equal amounts of lifts each side ...... we all do. OCD rules (well, my OCD is alphabetic, CDO..)... Nice gym.👍💪🌞. Have you considered icebaths before training? I do that every now and then, and I get crazy hot after training, feels like metabolism is through the roof.
Haha 😂 SO GLAD it’s not just me haha 😂 and YESSS! I am going to try it since a few people have told me now it’s a unique way to prep the body 🙏 massive thanks you
High arm catch is the total opposite of what we are taught for open water swimming? @Swim Mastery @adamwalker. The aim is to save the shoulders? Ross Edgely???
Pinnacle of fitness and likability rolled into half man, half fish.
haha.. you're such a LEGEND!! i LOVE THIS.... that needs to go on my insta bio, haha!!! awww MASSIVE THANK YOU and hope training is going well bromethius

You're the reason i push myself so hard in the gym! People like you make others want to be stronger and kinder, we appreciate you 👊
Ross the OCD bit was SO RELATABLE I do that all the time even with my limited equipment (or as you'd say: hyper specialized) at home 🤣
What a legend. Does this guy ever stop smiling. Even on deaths door after the last world's longest swim you were full of smiles and laughter. True inspiration.

Where did you get the Vasa Trainer from in the UK? Can’t find one anywhere?
Oh I know 🙈 had to import and was a little ££ expensive 😬

Everytime I see one of his video's I am contemplating to sign up for triathlon. And I don't even like water or swimming.
YESSSS 🤩 love this! Absolute LEGEND
But I don't see Ross being as happy as possible training indoors...
So...a £2000 gym and an £8000 spa then 😂😂😂
