As of right now, I'd say that this is the most interesting non pro match video channel on TH-cam. The videos are put together so well, not too long, not too short and tell a good story reach time!

NICE Playing!! Cedric looks like a super tough all court player. He's got great court coverage, groundstrokes, and net game. You stayed super tough and kept getting better.
Haha I noticed both of you guys doing some underarm serves??

Great win! Also, like to see the great sportsmanship between you two. Sometimes, maybe often, underhand serves are kind of a trigger for people in my little area of SoCal. But it's honestly totally fair game and really helps if double faults creep in or just to mix it up.

Congratulations on the win and the mental toughness to come back from the first set. You win more points on your forehand when your toes are at the baseline or moving forward. Backhand down the line was working. Maybe throw in some drop shots when you know your opponent is struggling physically. Great match!

Hey Kevin, great match to watch and love your channel! I think once you relaxed into the match you started to swing through the ball more and got more depth. In the first set you were tight and trying to hit hard, but hitting shorter as your strokes were shortened.
I notice you get a lot of attacking opportunities where you have opened up the court for either an approach shot or outright winner, but you still loop the ball nice and high allowing your opponent time to revover instead of driving the ball much lower and taking time away. I think if you commit to trying to flatten out your forehand when you are in offensive positions you will become a much more dangerous player. You don't even need to risk hitting hard and overhitting - just hitting flatter will take more time away from your opponent if you aren't confident of hitting so hard. Not much point hitting hard balls if they loops so high that your opponent can retrieve - it just tires you out more?
Also, you never seem to hit drop shots? There were many opportunities where you ran your opponent side to side and he's deep behind the baseline - these are perfect opportunities to mix things up and bring him scrambling to net to chase a drop shot, or even to hit a low attacking slice instead of looping it back like a neutral ball and just re-setting the rally when you have the advantage!

    1) Can you let us know how Cedric does against Slicer Hassaan? Interested to see how much difference Cedric’s net savvy and greater willingness to attack, makes. 2) it might be a good idea to hit some drop shots on a few mid court balls. The real benefit would be to plant the drop shot idea in your opponents head and make them take a step or two closer to the baseline. Cedric just camped behind the baseline and never had to worry about a short ball. 3) If the double faults were due to the strings they would occur more randomly and not on so many break points. The tried and true solution is to just hit a second serve on the first serve in nervy situations. It’s not like your first serve is so big that you’re necessarily giving up a service winner, nor is your second serve super weak and being plastered. Don’t let ego get in the way of winning. 3) The TH-cam All Calf Tennis Championships . 😮😂

Would love to play Winston one day haha. I honestly don’t know where it came from. I had many coaches as a junior and they never mentioned it so my best guess is that every time i took a decent lengthed break from tennis, my grip got slightly more western. It started out as semi-western

Great job on the comeback! Impressive! It was certainly the right decision to change your game plan!
I really like the way you hit your backhand! Looks beautiful!
Not as crazy about your forehand, however. It's good, but it looks like maybe you hit the ball not quite out in front enough so you end up having to swipe up on the ball. Good for spin, but not as good for driving through the court...
It would probably help you to go to the net sometimes to keep him from being able to just lob the ball back to you to reset the point after you hit a good shot... I know that's not really your game, but it's probably worth working on.... You were tired, though, so maybe your decision to play from the backcourt was the right one...

Great fight by both of you. A few thoughts. On average, you overhit the ball with not enough shape. You really don't put enough depth pressure on your opponent. I estimate that 80% of your shots land inside the service box. Try to hit higher over the net with plenty of topspin/shape on the ball and look for the short reply. Also, you may slightly over think the match. Your double faulting definitely is mental. Most people that double fault do so because they decelerate their swing on their second serve. Hit the second serve just as hard as the first with the same height on the toss, but with more spin to eliminate doubles.

Your game is good but is suffering due to the fact that you dont move into your shots and actually back up in cases where you should be pressing the net.
Your ground strokes if possible, should be weight moving forward into the ball... Aggressively attacking with approach shots into a volley.
Your slices will have more pace that is knifed, back hand and forehand will improve with your extreme grip before you'll be hitting through or down on the ball.
Stop backing up...Agassi refused toback off the baseline. This kept his opponents pressed back with constant pressure.
