One of the million things I love about jotaro is that, he never gets cocky even tho he is so OP and reputed. He ALWAYS did what he said he would, even at the cost of his own life.
Jotaro is quite literally the polar opposite of Dio. Dio is cocky because of his power, basically trolling everybody who tried fighting him, but instantly losses his cool when another got a hold of his power. Jotaro on the other hand treats everybody as a threat like Kira does, always focusing on finishing the fight as fast as possible with minimal casualty and damage, and when the situation favors the enemy he stay calm and composed waiting for the opportunity and bluffing his enemy into doing something reckless like shown in the video

I love Part 3 and Part 4 the most due to the simplicity of the Stands' abilities. Really straightforwar and easily understandable, but still powerful and unlimited. Stands in Part 7 and Part 8 get weirder and weirder, along with extremely complicated conditions and restrictions.
truth be told D4C is actually rather simplistic in it's power. Can cross dimensions when he puts himself or someone else between two things. Valentine's ability to be scary is that he has a simple power stand like that, which is very versatile, and he abuses that versatility.
The further you progress in the story, the stand battles become less like battles and more like riddles. I appreciate it as it helps avoid the power creep. raw power isn't the end all be all.

This scene is a good reminder that even though this isn’t Jotaro’s part anymore, he’s still one of the most powerful stand users in the whole series, and that if you’re on the opposing side, you should *never* take him lightly.

Honestly, this scene is like an eye opener for Kira. Up to this point, Kira has only been fighting low to high-low tier stands (because most of these guys are still beginners) that are maybe on par or weaker than Killer Queen. Due to this, he probably thinks Killer Queen is an OP stand, even though it's really only a little above average at around mid-tier (High C to Mid B class). Unfortunately, he encounters Jotaro in this scene, who has one of the most powerful close range stands in the series.

The 1:15 sequence is so briliantly done, you get the idea of the time slowing down as the killer queen prepares for the final blow. A commonly used technique to amplify the fear of the situation (also seen in One Punch Man for instance, with genos vs saitama). Here, however the animators kill 2 birds with 1 stone by also nailing home just how fast star platinum is. Despite this being in slow mo, star platinum's punch is still one instant frame of animation,. Beautiful.

I love how unlike the other JoJo villains, Kira isn't particularly strong or overpowered. He gets his ass whooped by Jotaro, hell, he even failed to stop Harvest from discovering the hand.
Scary thing about Kira, unlike most other people, he learns and adapts his abilities after figuring out how to use them, it’s not how powerful, or how strong his abilities are, it’s how much to the fullest potential can he use it to, making him arguably one of the scariest villains in Jojo
he saved his life when he pulled him out of the building before sheer heart attack exploded but it exploded because his words went away because he sent off his stand after jotaro told him not to so he basically just solved a problem he made really wish koichi died here ngl
I used to think these episodes were a lame showing for Jotaro - but really, other than Koichi messing things up he was on top the whole way through. Kira had no conception that Sheer Heart Attack COULD be destroyed, I think - the thought never crossed his mind, and yet Jotaro was well on the way to doing it - and of course, he nearly tore Killer Queen apart despite being on death's door.
Jotaro is definitly one of my favourites anime characters, the man is just sheer determination, if he says you're going to be beaten, you bet you will, even though I dont think he had been made justice in posterior appearances than PT3, I still think he is by far the most interesting and fun character to watch in jojo.
Yeah, it's kinda cool how some humanoid looking stands with complete faces can also reflect their user's reactions. Star Platinum had it most common on Stardust Crusaders, Crazy Diamond doesn't express much emotions but he did smile on one particular scene when Josuke battled with superfly stand, Dio's Za Warudo only properly reflected his reactions when Star Platinum broke his fist while Gold Experience probably never expressed anything at all.
I just realize that Jotaro, a man with probably a whole Quarter of his total blood missing, grabbed a full grown man by the arm... JUST to roast his watch. This is why I love JoJo.
I don’t think words can describe how satisfying it is to see just how broken Star Platinum still was in this fight. Kira is legit lucky that SHA got Jotaro so close to death, because otherwise… Well, I don’t think anyone needs a reminder of the time he caved Dio’s skull in with a single punch.
Jotaro also holds back against normal people, if he wasn't holding back against Kira he would've flown away with his head blown open and dozens of fist sized holes all over his body.
Jotaro always holds back against normal humans since he rather not kill them. All the hits he landed on Dio, wouldve one shotted anyone he faced in parts 3 or 4

I am convinced with each passing generation, Hamon breathing becomes easier/second nature for the jojos to the point where it becomes almost unnoticeable. Take the final fight between jotaro and kira. One could interpret that deep breath jotaro takes as a focusing Hamon breath.
And here we see what the Joestars are truly great at: pretending to be defeated so that you let your guard down and catch the most obscene amount of hands. I'm certain that Jotaro only lamented that no one was around, or awake, to hear his cutting one-liner. He takes great pride in those.

cuz they literally are.. with 9mm pistols, and many other arsenal of real weapons' sounds are being used.. i particularly like the 7 page muda in Golden Wind where they used SMG for the part where GE juggles him midair..
I love Part 3 and Part 4 the most due to the simplicity of the Stands' abilities. Really straightforwar and easily understandable, but still powerful and unlimited. Stands in Part 7 and Part 8 get weirder and weirder, along with extremely complicated conditions and restrictions.
As much as I enjoy the convoluted Stands of later parts, there is something satisfying in the simplicity of 3 & 4.
truth be told D4C is actually rather simplistic in it's power. Can cross dimensions when he puts himself or someone else between two things. Valentine's ability to be scary is that he has a simple power stand like that, which is very versatile, and he abuses that versatility.
The further you progress in the story, the stand battles become less like battles and more like riddles. I appreciate it as it helps avoid the power creep. raw power isn't the end all be all.

This scene is a good reminder that even though this isn’t Jotaro’s part anymore, he’s still one of the most powerful stand users in the whole series, and that if you’re on the opposing side, you should *never* take him lightly.

Honestly, this scene is like an eye opener for Kira. Up to this point, Kira has only been fighting low to high-low tier stands (because most of these guys are still beginners) that are maybe on par or weaker than Killer Queen. Due to this, he probably thinks Killer Queen is an OP stand, even though it's really only a little above average at around mid-tier (High C to Mid B class). Unfortunately, he encounters Jotaro in this scene, who has one of the most powerful close range stands in the series.
No one won in this fight they literally all would of bled out if josuke didn’t show up honestly killer queen is not a bad stand at all sheer heart attack is broken but jotaro would of one shoted him if he used time skip and koichi wasn’t there he had to save koichi in the store.

The 1:15 sequence is so briliantly done, you get the idea of the time slowing down as the killer queen prepares for the final blow. A commonly used technique to amplify the fear of the situation (also seen in One Punch Man for instance, with genos vs saitama). Here, however the animators kill 2 birds with 1 stone by also nailing home just how fast star platinum is. Despite this being in slow mo, star platinum's punch is still one instant frame of animation,. Beautiful.
This might also illustrate Jotaro's perspective, because to him, Kira and Killer Queen are moving in slow motion.

I love how unlike the other JoJo villains, Kira isn't particularly strong or overpowered. He gets his ass whooped by Jotaro, hell, he even failed to stop Harvest from discovering the hand.
His main thing was that it was the man, not the stand, that was dangerous. Although he did have some time/range hax with Stray Cat and BTD by the end.
Yeah and he got dominated by Josuke during their fight, he had help from two other stand users (his father and Stray Cat).

I used to think these episodes were a lame showing for Jotaro - but really, other than Koichi messing things up he was on top the whole way through. Kira had no conception that Sheer Heart Attack COULD be destroyed, I think - the thought never crossed his mind, and yet Jotaro was well on the way to doing it - and of course, he nearly tore Killer Queen apart despite being on death's door.
To be fair. Jotaro should not have been getting up after the man handling from sheer Heart Attack.

Yeah, it's kinda cool how some humanoid looking stands with complete faces can also reflect their user's reactions. Star Platinum had it most common on Stardust Crusaders, Crazy Diamond doesn't express much emotions but he did smile on one particular scene when Josuke battled with superfly stand, Dio's Za Warudo only properly reflected his reactions when Star Platinum broke his fist while Gold Experience probably never expressed anything at all.

In fairness, that was just the impression he got from SP's raw SPEED. Jotaro didn't even USE The World.
Jotaro was the 3rd Stand User Kira fought and SP is so fast even without TS Kira didnt even know the full capacity of Stands

マトモな腕力系のスタンドと打ち合った事が無いから過信してたんだろうな。
ただ、承太郎が顔面に一発目を入れて怯ませた時だけは
時間を停めてから入れたようにも解釈できる。
(間のとり方で明らかに途中の動きをスキップしている点を強調している)
その後のラッシュは腕力と速度の違いにただただ驚いている。
一般に間合いが近ければ近いほど互いの速度と反応速度の差は大きくなる。
こんな超至近距離なら吉良からすれば承太郎のパンチは実際の2倍くらいの速度に感じられるし
パンチに対してガードをする時間すらない。

I am convinced with each passing generation, Hamon breathing becomes easier/second nature for the jojos to the point where it becomes almost unnoticeable. Take the final fight between jotaro and kira. One could interpret that deep breath jotaro takes as a focusing Hamon breath.
And here we see what the Joestars are truly great at: pretending to be defeated so that you let your guard down and catch the most obscene amount of hands.
I'm certain that Jotaro only lamented that no one was around, or awake, to hear his cutting one-liner. He takes great pride in those.
This was my absolute favorite scene in Part 4. They did it justice by playing Jotaro's theme
