Designing this garden was a joy from start to finish! The client has a very busy working and social life and wanted a low maintenance garden that he could enjoy relaxing and entertaining in.
Even at only 9 x 6 meters, it's still possible to divide the garden into three distinct ‘zones’. It creates the illusion of a much larger and more interesting space.

Looks great. I love the look of the bark chips, but I’ve found them quite high maintenance. The birds and cats dig through them and they end up all over the lawn and paths.

The herb boxes rest on metal brackets that are screwed onto the wall of the shed.

It is all totally very beautiful. My problem is as the plants grow they crowd out each othe. Some plants will need to be moved in a year or two.
