Lovely gardens I've now watched a few of your videos. You seem to use a very light paving stone often - I've had this in a previous house and it was difficult to keep clean even after being sealed. Do you have a favourite paving?
Just to the left on the main patio out the door are concrete planters with something growing in it you never mentioned what that was. Is that some type of bamboo
I was wondering, what can be grown under that huge pine tree in fill sun please? Everything seems to struggle - we r in the w midlands area. Lovely neat and tidy design by the way.
For dry conditions, think of using ground cover planting. Pachysandra terminals is a plant with shiny, dark green evergreen foliage that has white flowers spring/early summer. Grows to about 20cm in height. Also plant this with Geranium nodosum, that has little lavender purple flowers and will flower all summer. Grows to 30cm in height. Finally, try using a Fern, such as dryopteris erythrosora. You will need to water then for the first season, but once established they will cope with the conditions really well.

For the seating area is the gravel floor stuck down or is it loose cos it looks quite firm?

What is the name of the tall plant in terracotta pots at the front of the large terrace area? Also where did you buy your pots from?
Bamboo. Pots come from a store or garden center that sells large pots.

generally they are detachable cushions that are brought in at night.
