The wheeler district should’ve been on this list, it definitely has the most stand out architecture, and not only that but it’s the most walkable and has entirety walkable shopping and eating areas. It’s basically like a little town within a city, to make it better it has a great view of the skyline and it’s right next to the Oklahoma river.
@@cherriledbetter1120 Thanks for the comment. Gatewood, Las Vegas, and Classen Ten Penn (where I lived for several years) all surround the district. Some of the houses right on 16th have the University Heights designation on MLS, but most folks know and refer to the general area around there as Plaza District.
If you're doing something like Airbnb or VRBO, I like Plaza District, Paseo Arts District, Mesta Park/Heritage Hills, Uptown, and Gatewood to name a few. Those neighborhoods will all be in fairly close proximity to the most of the popular areas in town.
Mesta Park/Heritage Hills are the closest to Bricktown-about 5 minutes by car. If you want to stay *in* Bricktown, there are several nice hotels there.

Wheeler is great! I love going to Clarity and The Big Friendly in that neighborhood. And that green space...
Mesta Park and Heritage Hills are awesome midtown neighborhoods too. Just south of the Paseo District
Yes! Love those neighborhoods. The old growth trees are perfection. 🤌
@@BenFreemanHomes many of these neighborhoods were my old stomping ground. It was nice to take a walk down memory lane through your video 💖
Keep it up my brother! Your subs are small; but in time you will grow!
Thanks for the encouragement! 🙏
I want to move near OKC but not to close. lol
Looking for a newer home with 5 plus acres (farm).
Definitely plenty of options like that near OKC. Do you currently live in Oklahoma?
Plaza district is not the neighborhood but a district that includes gatewood and part of ten penn neighborhoods
