    On hubbys account atm visiting Oklahoma from Sweden. He's the local, I'm the Swede. I am totally in love with the Tucker "Mother Trucker" onion burger, as well as the people and nature. Currently in tornado season which I thought would be "cool" but I quickly learned better lol.
    Oh, also. GO THUNDERS!

    Food is great in Tulsa too!! There’s more Restaurants in Oklahoma than in states 6 times its size!

      Agreed! Both cities tend to really surprise people from bigger cities.

    My first year in Oklahoma City, my seasonal allergies were definitely haywire. But since then, my allergies have been pretty quiet. I still have the Zyrtec I bought when I moved here a little over 2 years ago.

    Haha! I totally know what you mean about the allergy tests. Holes punched up and down the forearms and test drops. I was allergic to everything, thank goodness I grew out of most of it. I'm looking at moving to OKC this year if I can get transferred there. Thanks for the videos!

      Omg me too, thankfully I grew out of most of those. I thought I would basically be bubble boy for the rest of my life 😂😂

      Very cool - what's bringing you up here to OKC? A job, or just a change of scenery?

      @@livinginoklahomacityofficial I brought a town house in Lawton, Oklahoma 4 yrs ago, I moved from Michigan because Michigan is expensive. Since I been in the town house every year it floods get hit left and right on repairs on it. This year the plumbing went bad on it. The association doesn't repairs the plumbing, they keep pushing more of your responsibility on it. So. I am letting it go in foreclosure on it. Then I will be in Oklahoma city the out skirt of mid west or delcity. Going back to renting to renting. Oklahoma city places you go to like the zoo. Csl plasma you can make money for donations.

    Doing the allergy teat at 40 was a game changer. Instead of having 100 days of allergy hell, after 5 years of treatments I only struggle around 10-12 days a year lol. Not perfect, but better.

      @@cspriggs96 awesome! I bet it was also less traumatic at 40 than at age 6 like I did 🤣🤣

    What parts of OKC are relatively low crime for the working poor?

    • @EricK-td9eh
      @EricK-td9eh 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Del City or Midwest City area are pretty cheap. They're technically their own cities but most consider them part of the OKC metro area. The Village is also pretty cheap. Stay away from the NE or SW side of OKC!

    I’m worried about the crime. Is it bad or is it like normal big city bad.

    • @tuesdayswithed
      @tuesdayswithed 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Well it's not good. Just be aware that OKC doesn't have enough police to cover the whole area. Just be vigilant and you'll be ok.

    Do you think Tornados could be almost non existent in the next 10 to 15 years since it's getting drier there due to climate change?
    That would be ideal!

      Ha well good question, and I'm not sure. I hadn't heard that - not a meteorologist, but I see the logic!

      Every tornado prone area goes through lulls. Tornadoes aren’t going anywhere. The narrative that tornado alley shifted east is a myth and needs to die. Sometimes it will be more active in the Gulf states, other times it will be more active here. It’s always been that way and will continue to be so.

    Good chinese food is lacking bigtime. You can Actually see the grass grow. You left out he schools which are marginal and colleges are now pretty much woke so don't expect to get really good education

      Yeah, I attended a liberal arts college and learned to look at all viewpoints. I got a great education, long before "woke" became an adjective. So, MAGA King Kong, move to Texas. (I say "King Kong" because I am guessing your knuckles scrape the ground.
