Robert i admire how even though the bus load not working out put you guys in a bad spot you hustled doing short runs to make up money that you lost.
You two are the best you always make the best out of bad situations.

@@AB-mg5sx Its in the suburbs, not in the city at all. And in the suburbs, there are 3 cities that are in the top Places to live and raise a family in the country. I don't know if you've ever heard of saint charles illinois or naperville illinois, that is just to name a few. People always associate chicago southside as being what chicago is like when in fact, most of those people don't know what the hell they are talking about. All that crime and shootings that you hear about is on the south side of chicago. The North side of Chicago is very wealthy and also the suburbs area. Western suburbs has the top number one and number two places to live and raise a family in the united states. Best place to have jobs best pay for jobs. Best schools to raise your children. All in the suburbs of chicago people really need to do their research before popping off at the mouth.

Small world and small industry the landfill business is. You just hauled equipment for a competitor of mine (Chesapeake) and unloaded next to the day trailer of another competitor (Piedmont). I’ve been to the drop off landfill. You didn’t smell the stink yet because you were by the new lined cell. The hill that you drove around is the stink part with all the methane venting out. And yes, forget a clean truck when working in landfills. Keep up the good work.

Cullman Alabama... I call that place the "Fly capital of the world". Had a manufacturing plant there that I serviced their equipment. First trip I stayed at a local motel... and that was the LAST time. The flies were horrendous! Not just at the motel, everywhere. After that, I would drive an hour north to Decatur AL and stay there instead.

I understand what you are doing. Years ago when I was a O/O me and my partner were lease to a company out of Pennsylvania and our terminal was in Massachusetts we were contracted to haul for GE and they would only build for a month out and if we got back before GE had built we would be stuck there. So our dispatcher would have loads that went to the docks in NY to be shipped over seas and none of the other drivers would take them because it didn't pay diddly squat. So me and my partner would run em and by the that time GE had built and our dispatcher would give us our pick.of loads. Geez we made some good money for back at time. Keep up the good work you got business model going and one thing you can say about yourself and your fantastic partner is ya ain't lazy. Be safe driver.
