Warning! While the USE of the vegetable chopper is simple, cleaning it is NOT. It takes a long time to clean all those little holes, especially with more fiberous vegetables like onions. Without sight you would miss a lot of tiny little pieces of food and this would become a huge bacteria hazard.

I own one and I just spray it out with my shower head instead of the sink! Way more pressure and gets all the bits off

    Good tips!
If someone is new to vision loss, they can get many pieces of equipment like these; or talking scales, talking, glucometer, magnifiers, and training to assist in learning new skills from Rehabilitation Services For The Blind in any state.

Totally agree! Always a great start to check with rehabilitation services in a persons area to see what is available

    This is absolute gold!
At my local Walmart, I’m planning to look for/buy some of these items/products…over on my TH-cam channel, I have been documenting/recording status updates on my progress of creating a handful of visually impaired-friendly DIY craft activity projects (empathic design)-like, most recently, Gringotts Wizarding Bank (from The Wizarding World of Harry Potter), The Barbie Dreamhouse, and a scene from the original/1st Indiana Jones RotLA movie (The Well of Souls scene)!
…if I can integrate any of these ideas/items/products into any one/all of my projects-I BELIEVE I can, because the projects concern an idea/concept of treating blank white playing cards as essentially “blank canvases”, applying different items (stickers-scented, etc, tape, paint-specifically making mixtures, to create different textures, of varying consistencies, etc) to them, and then inserting them into a new building/construction ‘toy’ product I had invented called TI’TAINS (US Patent Pending)-I’ll be sure to link to you/this video, in the video description, from/of any of my video(s) where I mention/use any of these items/products! :)
…to those particular projects, I’m thinking the bright/orange duct tape, adhesive gemstones (our 5 year old actually has like a million of these around the house…lol…applied to just about every surface…so I may not have to purchase those…), and the glow-in-the-dark Puff paint would work/integrate well into them!
    Thank you!
    -Howie :)

Another great video Mike. Just curious as I've never tried it - how do you find the puff paint lasts on appliances compared to HI mark tactile pen? (I think that's what the American name is, we call it tactimark here)

Im torn between disappointment that visually impaired people sorta have to buy coffee pods, but also thats like the perfect way ti make coffee for them which is good
Are there any products for blind people that disappointed you / arent made from good materials?
