Note - not all 09-14 strap kits fit, I know for sure that the strap kit that “Speed Needs” sell on Ebay fit for this modification, and its not just a direct bolt on type of situation.
Do you drive the bike like that? Or just a park and show kinda thing? I just feel like the compression on forks will wear them out fast and those are NOT very cheap or easy to do. Each his own, cool bike.
Kevin Drenski people use this for racing as well as some other things, it will wear them out over time yeah. Forks are easy to do though but expensive yes lol
You don't ride the bike around strapped, only when racing. It's installed on the bike, but it's not strapped all the time. Yes it does wear the forks out quicker when in use.

What on earth is that ???! LOL The hell did you do ?? And if the straps brake off the caliper bolts then you have no front brake. What is this used for ?
@@Outspokentiger you do realise if that shit were to snap not only might it throw you off balance at high speed because of the sudden suspension release but the strap could wrap around the front wheel so fast and lock up in some fucked up way or at least pull the steering to one side at 140mph, however likely or unlikely it is do you really want to take the risk, if so by all means go ahead

This kit has been on my bike forever, but yeah thanks for your input.

Sometimes I am glad not to live in the USA when I see something like that. It might be good for a drag race, or just straight roads, but for normal road traffic, especially in curves, it is life threatening. The whole handling of the bike changes to the negative and makes the bike unsafe. For example, if you are stopped by the police in Germany with such a motorcycle, the motorcycle would be confiscated on the spot and the operating license of the vehicle is immediately invalid. If the belts were such a great thing, the motorcycle manufacturers would sell them as an option and it would be allowed all over Europe.
