I drove one of these once and I was really impressed by how comfortable it felt and the soothing sound of the engine. Also, good sound isolation too. This car punches above its weight. Makes you feel you're driving a better car than it really is.
Between 1:54 - 2:13 did you see the lorry? The guy is a real driver! He allowed cars to join the highway and then he changed his lane back to the right. Very good driver!

What is your fuel consumtion?
@@tomislav1575 now it moves around 6.5 litres as I drive mostly short distances within a city. In long distances and outside the city in countryside consumption goes below 5 l. I would say avarage is somewhere around 6
@@ondrej704 that is very good being petrol engine you have less noise and it warms up quicker than diesel, diesel would be pretty much the same fuell consuptiom but this one is cheaper and cheapeer to seervice and maintan. So car is very choice.

@@danisan551 that is true. This car definitely has many drawbacks. It depends on what you want and what you need.
Subcompact Sedans are so rare in Europe. Interesting that you found someone with that car.

We had the first 2015 model as a substitute when our C4 broke down. I was impressed by this three-banger. The only problem it has is the highway speeds...: it sounds like a Porsche there, but it starts dying when it sees an uphill coming. Other than that, yet another cool and useful car by Citroen. Thank you for the video, Joe.
Fortunately the 2018 model doesn't have that problem, goes uphill perfectly even with 5 people and luggage inside
The 1.5 HDI performes miles better than the 1.2... Had the 3pot 1.2 on a C3 while doing some maintanance on the C-Elysee and it was fun but a bit lacking in torque. The 1.5hdi starts to die at 4200rpm or so, or up until 185kmph. If conditions and diesel is good... Got it to 193kmph

At 7:37 the way he drove and cut across TWO solid white lines is crazy. He also went in a small piece of road that's meant to seperate traffic and is not meant to be driven on.

I have this car for about 6 months (2018 manufacted), just today turned 46 000 km. consumption (90% short distances up to 3-5 km, even 700 m) consumption 6.2 l...Not for racing but delivers what needed if you want to overtake somebody dragging. For NA 82 hp engine excellent performances and so cheep to maintaine. Only issue is no rear wiper and belt in the oil - lets see how long it will last before replacment.
Oglądając Opla Astre H zauwazylem, ze jezdziesz czasami po drodze w wiekszosci połatanej. Tak sobie mowie, anglieski film ale zobacze do konca. Potem wlaczylem inne filmy i no jest, Polskie drogi. Pozdrawiam serdecznie, kanal bedzie jednym z moich ulubionych o autach.

subcompact sedans are so rare here in europe, especially in norway where i live. we either get suv’s or hatchbacks. i rarely see this kind of car, and i’ve never heard of this citroen either
Well here in algeria we see them aln hatchback golf leon 308 megane and small polo clio ibiza tgen u got asian sedans toyota corroka hyundai accent and skoda oktavia
Also in Portugal its really popular and they use it for taxis and police cars since this is so affordable

I have one since 2021, 1.5 blue hdi,,12500€ new....with nice discount,,and I can¨t be more happy with it, Taking care the consumption is 4 litres 100km,,,and driving normally 5 litres 100km, superstable and comfortable for long trips and low consumption also in urban enviroment. Happy to drive it everyday.
Miałem taką nówkę, ale w lepszym kolorze (gris acier) z silnikiem 1.6 vti 115KM ( 4 cyl bez turbo) zwykły prosty bezawaryjn silnik i zbierał się w 9s do setki. Dobrze wspominam moje pierwsze nowe autko. Niestety już go nie mam;(

Backup cameras are pretty rare in Europe, in most cars you have to buy the top trim to have one.

@@danisan551 for now yes,in Croatia there is lot od taxi with this engine 0.9tce LPG and they say 400 000km without issue is not problem For it.

2019 rok a strasznie biedny ten Citroen
To chyba taki odpowiednik Peugeota 301 - dość kiepska (i tania) oferta. Sedan "dla ludu". Kiepskie bezpieczeństwo, kiepskie osiągi (choć pewnie jest wersja z turbo), kiepski komfort.
Chociaż ta cena bazowa tutaj podana szokująco wysoka - myślałem, że zaczyna się poniżej 50 tys.
Komfort akurat nie jest kiepski. Miałem taką nowke w 2018 r i akurat udalo mi się w salonie kupić ostania sztukę z 1.6 vti silnik nad wyraz dynamiczny 115KM 9.3s do setki. Zawieszenie bardzo komfortowe (bardzo duze sprężyny) oraz wyciszone i mega dużo miejsca w środku a szczególnie z tyłu, bagażnik 506L, pełnowymiarowe koło zapasowe za full opcje (bez navi) bo akurat ta navi była słaba szronila jak tablet z 2008 roku. Za chromy grzane fotele tempomat bluetooth czujniki elegancki kolor (gris acier) full elektryke zapłaciłem 48 tys :D dziś nawet zwykła Sandero jest droższa. Mam zdjęcie jak mu przyciemnilem szyby jak stoi obok BMW 2 coupe i szczerze mówiąc moje c-elysee prezentowało się atrakcyjniej :D niestety musiałem już auto sprzedać;(
@@onesandzeroes Nie chyba a na pewno, 301 i c-elysee to prawie to samo, tylko nieco inna buda i wnętrze. Ta cena bazowa chyba źle dobrana, bo ja podobnie jak @Makatanka za 1.6 benzynowy płaciłem około 50 tys. w 2018 i to były ostatnie wypusty bo auto nie spełniało już norm spalin, a teraz spełniają je tylko diesele, które mają właśnie cenę startową grubo ponad 50 tys. (nie dość, że silnik droższy to Citroen jak każdy inny producent zbiera pieniądze na kary za emisje, a to tylko bazowe wersje).
I wiadomo, że auto nie jest super bezpieczne i komfortowe, ale w 2018 roku c-elysee było 3 najtańszym sedanem w Polsce (tańsza była Dacia logan z 3 cylindrowym silnikiem i 301, ale gdyby chcieć zrównać wyposażenie z Citroenem to c-elysee wychodziła taniej). Kolejny był dopiero Fiat tipo, którzy kosztował jakieś 10 tys. więcej, a dalej już tylko Skoda rapid (wiadomo, że nie jest typowy sedan, ale gabarytowo bardzo podobny, ale on już 70-80 tys.).

Musiałem nadkola, drzwi i bagażnik wygluszyc zeby przy 120 było tak, jak wcześniej przy 80. Tak czy siak uszczelk w drzwiach to istna porażka i wszystko dookoła szumi i wkur**ia
