Hey all, thank you for watching. Obviously calling this set-up a 'home-brew' set-up is a mischaracterization and I apologize for that. This is very much a ridiculous commercial pilot batch system, that much is for sure! Michael and I were just excited to get some footage to share with the community, and we didn't have time to go through it before continuing the tour. Thanks for reading - we hope you enjoyed the video and we hope you enjoy the channel!
Absolutely gorgeous!! Just when I thought this channel could invigorate me as a home brewer, it keeps getting better!! I have a 20 gallon single vessel system which is great, but that IS the dream… have fun and be safe on this trip, see you in Charlton, Deerfield, Sandwich…. Cheers!
It's a pilot brewers heaven but once you get into rakes, calandria, and flex augering malt there's nothing homebrew about this lol. A 10 gallon batch can be a gamble at the homebrew level so most homebrewers would have no desire to be sitting on 3 or 5 bbls of any one beer. There's something beautiful about the freedom you get at the 5 gallon scale. Funny thing is imagining how much mediocre beer is made on this system as BarthHaas is testing a bunch of experimental hops and new products.
Very cool. Being from the Netherlands I immediately noticed 'UILTJE' (@uiltjebrewingco - starting at 4:53 in the background). Any idea what's going on there?

ahMAZing stuff honestly. All the tree house videos you've been sharing and also ones like this, taking notes and putting them into the one-day box 🙂

I don't think I have enough room in my basement for that. But, I'd give it shot!
Super cool. It would be awesome to have a small batch series, I think you should buy one.
Let's hear more about how to home brew a tree house clone. I think a video of you going back to where you started would be a great video also.
Epic 🔥
Morning Nate.

It's fall now 🍁
Lmao this is actually a really sick setup
If this is still homebrewing then I'm still learning my ABCs 😅
How is this homebrew ???
Wow, where can I get one?
Hopefully they have layaway
This is so cool. Not sure if that set would fit at my house. tho hahaha
Home brew heaven is where dreams are made - thanks for watching!
I know this pilot brewery.
How much exactly for something like this?
Not sure what you do after you brew that much beer in one sitting. Got to have WAY more friends than I do.
I work on the same brewhouse in Berlin Germany :-D
Awesome!!
What's the name of the brew house brand?
Esau & Hueber@@morgansandblom347
LOL I like how you keep calling a $250k plus system a "homebrew setup"
Ya 6 figures is definitely commercial
I don't think too many homebrewers are making 5hL (~132 gallons) at a time either.
Pilot batch.
That setup will be at charlton in a matter of weeks! 😂
is this. a steam or electric system?
Steam
@@treehousebrewco thanks. I guess steam at scale is king.
I guess that’s a home brew setup if you have a few million to burn in the monthly budget lol
Call it what you want to call it. That is not a home brew system. 😂
You’re gonna need a bigger boat , Nate!
I mean c'mon. You can't call this homebrew. It's a nano brewery.

they make great beer
probably also there for hop selection
They were here for hop selection and left a bar mat as a gift.
